http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-XiuZRb_4UUThat has ALWAYS one thing that has amazed me since learning it in School. It truley is something to see and I am glad that I went on my SR trip do so. I pretty much forced my oldest Son to go on his Sr. trip and the Tomb Of The Unknowns was is favorite part. It really made him understand alot more about the way the Military can be.
So, with that being said..... I hope each and EVERY one of you have a Happy and Safe Memorial Day weekend. I will be doing my (along with my youngest Son) Yearly duties at some local cemeteries as I have for the past few years. We walk the Cemeteries and make sure each and every Vet has a US Flag and that there Memorial's are clean and neat.

Here in central PA last week we put out the flag at all the local cemeteries. On Monday we meet at 7 am then break into 2 groups of seven each group hits 4 cemeteries, each group has a kid from the high school band he plays taps then we do a 21 gun salute, drink a beer (usually a PBR)and pour one on the ground then go to the next cemetery.

I was in AIT over Veteran's Day, and my class was bussed to DC to spend half the day in DC at the Vietnam and Korean war memorials, and go to Arlington for the changing of the guard. We got to meet two of the guards afterwards, and talk to them. It was an amazing experience, and something everyone should see at least once.

Hope everyone has a great Memorial day. I pray that all those on the front lines are safe and come home soon. We are the home of the free, because of the brave.
