The official announcement came out today, straight from Rowling herself, yet I still feel pretty lost on the whole thing because it is rather vague on details. She calls it a new and unique online reading experience, and nothing she says makes it sound like WoW styled MMO in the slightest...
lol she also says it will be the only place to purchase Harry Potter ebooks, so much for her being against ebooks huh?

at the end there I think what she's trying to say is there are beta sign ups on the Pottermore website, possibly via a hidden link

I kind of get the mmo part of it, as it sounds like an interactive online book.......I'm kind of getting a Lotro vibe to it, but that could be because I've been playing it again. Something like an off-camera character who's following and interacting with the ongoing story. Could be mildly interesting.
