I just bought my first lower receiver and lpk ever on saturday i thought maybe with the amount of money i have spent on game could go to building a rifle so has anyone else built one?

I have not built one. I have a couple Rock River AR's, but I purchased them assembled. Someday I plan on it, so let me know how your project goes...:rolleyes:!

I think it will be fun but i was never much of a person to put toether models lol but ill post back on wed of next week when i get it and lucky for me its only a ten day wait for buying rifles and lower receivers here lol

Well i got the lower receiver and lower parts kit at my low firearms dealer and the stoak i got for 30 bucks on ebay

It's most often cheaper to buy one, but it's damn fun building yours custom. I plan on doing so once I move out of NYC. The gun laws here are downright UNCONSTITUTIONAL

Its worse in california except that you can carry a handgun with a ccw here in most towns and cities but the cheapest ar15 that I've seen is 1200 bucks and for the extra 600 bucks i save i can get 2000 rounds of 5.56 ammo not the cheap kind but the same at what our military uses

Oh to add does anyone know where to get a mil spec plate carrier that has the ballistic rating like the ciras and issued iba have been looking for one that break the bank since the plates are easy to.come by now lol

Yup and it has way less recoil than the m16 i shot lol
Ps i shot my ar for the first time today and it was sweet haha tho ill have to get used to the federal lake city surplus ammo tho it has a funky/weird smell after you shoot a round lol
