View Full Version : Any one ever hear of a Taco burger?

Im just wondering if this is something only my dad makes or if its something other people have tried.

Just in case your wondering its a standard burger patty but instead of regular seasoning you add taco seasoning. Next instead of ketchup, mustard, or mayo. you add sour cream, pinco de gallo, quacamole, and anything you may like on a taco... except its on a burger. I know lots of people I have told this too all gave me the :confused: face but its really REALLYREALLY good.

Yeah, a friend of mine used to make something like that, then one day I poured tequila in to his mix, and now he makes Jose taco burgers.

Never would think of that as an ingredient. Would you say thats better or there the same?

Not 21 so I dont really drink, although when I was in Texas I had A Beer every now and then because out there as long as you have permission from your parent and are in the same building as them you can drink if your over the age of 14.

I feel if you can fight for your Country and vote @ 18 then you should be able to drink. And yes, I have had Taco Burgers and they are tasty. I will have to try the Tequila next time.

Can't forget the tacos sauce and i believe you can drink when your serving as long as the local laws says other wise while being 18 i know the air forces regs says it lol guess gotta be in europe or japan lol

They're absolutely better with tequila, because the alcohol burns off and leaves you with the tequila bite. Awesome they are.

The only way I make a burger is with jack for me and tequila for the burger less pain....

Makes ya kinda wonder what other Alcohol would be a great grill marinate for meats and chickens???

Pretty much any decent whiskey or bourbon works great. Jack Daniels ribs anyone? Tequila works when you're going for a south of the border flavor. Quite a few different beers make good additions as well.

Oh, Rum works good for chicken or fish, but generally not beef.

I've had taco burgers and love 'em to death! I'll definitely try the tequila thing. Nothing less than Cabo Wabo though!
