On August 16, 2011, Sony Computer Entertainment (SCE) has announced a new price for the PlayStation®3 system. In North America, the 160GB version will now be $249 USD and the 320GB version will be $299 USD. This new price will be effective immediately in North America.

Fortunately, I could care less what the Japanese do. Though I'm hardly suprised that a Japanese company is doing better in Japan.

$50 price drop isnt a low enough drop to make me want to buy one.
besides all the games I love (I have played a PS3) are on 360 or have extra perks on 360.
