You guys got a nasty storm inbound!
If any of you need to evacuate further inland, I have a extra room at my place. Just send me a PM here.

I'm located just south of Birmingham, AL

ikr. First we're hit with an Earthquake and now a Hurricane on it's tail.

The Earthquake damaged the floor right by my pod. Was comforting knowing that brand new building I'm working in is now ever so slightly compromised. While we were all evacuated I kept hearing explosions just over the treeline. Turns out it didn't stop them from testing munitions afterward either =)

We are now tasked with securing anything that could become a projectile. Hurricanes are so exciting =) I was imagining what it would be like to see a satellite dish picked up and flung like a giant frisbee. One expensive Frisbee.

OK I know I'm weird.

Lol good one River except our dishes are like 20 to 40+ feet in diameter. I bet someone would think it was a UFO

My X-Mom in Law is in the evacuation zone and the stubborn inconsiderate woman has shut her phones down an is hiding in her trailer. A TRAILER IN A HURRICANE! I won't even say what I'm thinking. I just hope nobody gets hurt if they have to go in and save her ass

Well the worst has passed. Hope everyone affected came out safe and sound.

My pool overflowed, my grill was laying in my flowerbed and my flag pole broke. Not used to it being on the side of my house so I forgot to bring it down. Other than all that and losing power for about 5-6 hours, we came out fine. I'm soooooo glad I'm out of NJ =)

I am getting some periodic wind gusts and a lot of rain here. Nothing serious.

We weathered it pretty well in NYC, my only "gripe" is the MTA is shut down indefinitely. No work today and maybe tomorrow.....darn ;)

Im union, we get paid if we have no means of getting to work due to uncontrollable outside forces. Like state of emergency type issues.
