Bought this yesterday played to the 3rd chapter in campaign then played until I was almost a level 5 in MP. Its a mix of Gears of war and god of war. You can go from swing a chainsword to shooting with a bolter in no time. It also has a fury meter once you fill it up you can either go crazy in melee or slow thing down like bullet time. Some strange camera angles and some enemy that get killed into a wall on the campaign are the only things so far I have found. The MP is great with 3 classes long range devastator, assault with jump packs and regular marine. Every level you gain new weapons or new armor. After level 4 you can change your color scheme to anything except locked items. download the demo and try it.

good game the only problem I see in the MP is playing with people who are ranked around what you are. Right now I'm almost 9 out of 41 but you unlock better weapons and perks as you go higher, like any FPS but in Space Marine you can be playing with any level so my 4 to5 bolter rounds that are needed to kill vs a single swipe from a doom hammer and your down.

I actually used to play 40k... Weird huh? and my Fraction was space marines. I've always loved my terminator squad and my dreadnaughts.

I still do. But I think I 'll rent Space Marine. I like the demo but I have enough games on the way as it is So it'll be gamefly bound.

super nice job bro! I'm the same about the game... I d-led the demo and that was enough for me LOLz... I really like the red and white! I made mine blue and orange. Kind of an offshoot of the ultra marines.

I rented this last night and have to say it's AWESOME!!! Kinda reminds me of Gears! I love the Chainsword! It's my fav weapon so far! I love cutting the Orks in half or stomping their heads off!! Pure fun!!! I highly recommend it to any Gears fan!!
