Do you live in London and happened to notice the BT Tower looking an awful lot like a giant lightsaber on Thursday evening? Well that's exactly what it was supposed to look like.

The folks behind the release of the brand new STAR WARS Saga Blu-ray collection threw a star-studded party at the very top of the BT Tower, and spent the occasion mingling below a bright blue light beaming up into the night sky.

Here are a few photos of the tower, standing taller, mightier and geekier than Big Ben in all its lightsaberish glory.

I guess the Earth leaned how to use the force, and create itself a lightsaber... It's not red, so at least it means we're the good guys eh?

I find the concept of other intelligent beings besides us intriguing.

But I also find the conspiracy nuts hilarious.

The wacko in the pic blaims all the worlds problems on Aliens, along with anything weird,
and would like to replace God with a alien.

Hmmm he has a point...Anyone not from this planet is an alien right? God must be an alien then? How come I never even considered it before? I'm so dumb :p
