The Golden AK looks pretty good.

"Golden AK-47 Unlock Through PlayStation HOME

For those of you looking to add another weapon to your arsenal in SOCOM: Confrontation, we've got a special unlock for you coming in April. You can now get the Golden AK-47 by visiting the SOCOM Confrontation spaces (including the new OP-FOR space) in PlayStation HOME. Complete the puzzle in the HOME spaces within the time limit and you will be rewarded with a previously hidden Golden AK-47 that you can use to help bring your team to victory in-game."

I have to agree I am missing SOCOM too lately. What is our status as a clan with Confrontation. I for one know I need a clan invite... wanna see what we can pull together for this weekend... would have to be after 21 or 2200 est for me though.

I have this game and played it like a grand total of 4 times. Never know what the hell I was doing so just gave up.

Sounds to me like we should look at dusting off our disks and getting back into some SOCOM... If you guys seem me on and want to play send me a PSN message .... I'll happily change games and play for a while.

Honestly I'm getting kinda psyched to play SOCOM again now :D

Socom is a really good tactical TPS but there is a deep learning curve due to the number of SO CRACKERS out their. Man SC2 was the only game in my PS2. I do have the cold front map pack and I am willing to start a UMG clan. Right now I am in RwB on there but none of us play. Hot_Karl you want to get back on there?

I play SOCOM just about everyday I made a UMG clan on there to reserve the name and tag I sent everyone an invite. I also have the cold front map packs.

Uh Oh I don't have this cold front pack. Probably not worth it for me since I really never play anyhow.

Just as an aside ... the cold front pack is SO worth it ... killer environments, snow ... night ops in snow ... if you are on the fence about getting it I would say do it. Lots of value in the extra game space.

I'll log in tonight and accept the clan invite and maybe get a game going. Wanted to last night but my boys ended up going to the doctors (nothing horrible just needed a antibiotic) but that kept me out of anything longer than a half a game of BC2.

PR... great games last night ... I'll need a lot of practice to get back to to where I was though. ;)

I'm going to start tonight off with some respawn games just to try to get my fingers playing SOCOM and not BC2 or MAG :lol:

Ya best way to warm up is start with respawns but you were doing pretty good for your first day back.

I just bought this at gamestop for 12 bucks I think it's a pretty good game, can one of u guys who still play this game send me a clan invite

i'm in. how do you level up in this game though? i played with pr for a couple hours two weeks ago and i'm still at 0

Well it's based on stats really ... how good you are at the game is directly proportional to your rank for some they rise fast for others its a bit more work. There are 2 ratings one is your Rank within the clan the other is a "confrontation" score that lives and dies by your day to day play.
