Ok as the title says if your from the northeast like myself stay safe out there this weekend. It looks like its shaping up to be a nasty noreaster. Hopefully no power outages so I can keep on gaming on BF 3.

I second that! I expect power up here in my area to be out for at least a couple hours.

Were the streets crazy with people going to the grocery stores where you are? Watching everyone you would think people in Pennsylvania had never seen snow.

Didn't see to many people today I expect early tomorrow to be busy. Not looking forward to it either.

Shony where you at? They are saying if power goes down it may be a while before it comes back on for a lot of people.

PA hasnt seen snow this early in the year since 72 i think i heard. Yes there were a lot of ppl out last night. I stopped to get gas and had to wait 10 min for a pump. Never saw it so crowded in a ling time. It's already a snow/rain mix here but it's not sticking yet.

The great October blizzard. The horror. The horror.

So far there's about 1/2" here. Not looking too bad so far.

I know. It looks like we'll be declared a disaster area again.

And that's why I don't even want to go to the corner store today. People panic to easily IMO. As for snow, I think we're supposed to get somewhere from 6 - 10 inches.

I just got home from a trip to York. The highway is down to 35 mph and almost white out condition in spots.

Got about an inch on the ground and my puppy is loving it.

We had a generous "dusting" of snow this morning, and so far the bulk is melting off. It's just kinda raining now.

On the fun side of things, when I got up this morning I did notice that a tire on my wife's Uplander had gone flat as she'd run over something. I had lots of fun this morning in the cold wet snow changing to an undersized spare tire and then calling around to find out that the tire we need is an odd size that nobody has in stock. FUN FUN!

I know right? Yeah as usual taking it too much out of control... Accidents, fights over water, toilet paper... the usual... LOL

I know right. And all those problems are easily solved too.

Accidents: Stay home. Can't get into an accident if you don't go anywhere.
Water: If you're in that much need for water, then melt the snow.
Toilet paper: If you run out then use old newspapers, magazines or bills you don't want to pay.

See! Easy solutions.

Also it looks like were up to 6" where I am and it's still coming down. Time to dust off the show shovel. Fun, fun.

Aw I like the snow but we get crap snow here when we have any :p

I want some proper deep snow that doesn't melt in a few hours. Snow that I can build a proper snowman...and an igloo...and go skiing on and sledging on :)

We tdo get a good amount of snow. This snow is very rare this early though. This will be first white Halloween lol.

On another note there was lightning and thunder with this snow.

Yeah in the blizzard here last year, there was a lot of that. I think people called it thundersnow. That blizzard was insane.

aw Indy, you're turning into quite the little weather reporter aren't you :)

Posting pics of the weather...giving us up to the minute weather conditions in your area...talking about the weather the whole time :)

I think you may just steal Smokes crown for the 'most interesting man in the world' if you keep this up ;)
