Alright its time to ante up! How many tags have you plucked from the cold dead necks of the enemy? Ive collected 42 so far, how about y'all?
I thought I had 1, but alas, now I don't see it, so perhaps he got me before I got him..:rolleyes:

I have a whopping grand total of three.
I'd have more but my fingers were too fat a couple of times and I ended up screwing it up. I've since re-bound the knife attack to a better position.

i got them all from taking out Goku. Vegetta was pretty heated about it too, considering he was unable to do it himself...

Look at your profile on Battlelog, and look under "Weapons and Equipment".

Ok....battlelog shows a different count than my in-game stats? In-game shows I have 59, but battlelog shows 50? Anyway, I think it has something to knife kills that I don't get there tag? I have had a number of kills with knives that say I killed them with it, but I get no cut scene or tag displayed? One guy was standing on .50cal in a jeep...:D
On a sidenote, Sick just got mine tonight...DOH!

Hopefully Statsverse or one of those other tracking sites will provide better info on the dog tags. I know a couple of them would show specifically who's dog tags you had and who had yours for BFBC2.

You have to knife someone from anywhere but in front of him. It gives you a little surprise knifing animation.

I dont know if its my connection but I sneak up on snipers and it wont always do the knife kill then they hear the fail and I have to quick shoot them as they get up.

I have a 10 Mb down but only 768 kb up. I asked if I could boost my upload and the DSL provider person didnt know what I meant. I would love a synchronous connection service. I had it in Germany in the 90's and that 1 Mb synch was the fastest for years back then.
I can upgrade to 25 Mb down and 3Mb up but I would have to run Cat5 0r 6 to my apartment from the Dmark. I have the tools but do I want to go digging in the old building basement to run it properly. Maybe when the temp is over 30 degrees again.
** I think I also get all excited and spas out to get some dog tags hahaha

Ping? that's really important and you left it out? It's all about the ping....I need to know that too to get the full picture :)
My ping is usually below 50, but I think my firewall may need tweaking. I work on school data at home so I have some security and just maybe need to tunnel BF3 like I have done with other games.

Below 40 at least is best for gaming, but then ping is relative to your DL and UL speeds anyway :p
I have pretty good speeds but my connection speed always sucks when I play with USMG cos of my location I guess.
I usually check it while my satellite, tv, ps3 and laptop are all connected to the web so I need to maybe limit their use during.
No worries I will figure it out. I did notice recently even my black ops had gotten slower so maybe there's something I havent caught going on or the ISP is doing the downgrading of speed. I have seen more and more of them doing that,

It's funny, I finally get a decent team through the Quick Match last night that actually works together for objectives, and the network craps out on me. Never does it when I'm surrounded by internet Rambo's running blindly into open areas firing like mad, but as soon as I find a good group? Bingo, "you have lost connection".

In Red Dead it used to say the stats took a few hours or whatever it was to update. As time went by though this was reduced right down and then it was more or less immediate.
Just be patient :rolleyes:

Call of Duty Elite updates within a few minutes.....I know everyone is on the hate Call of Duty bandwagon but maybe BattleLog could learn a little something here because I am not afraid to admit it, even the free portions of Elite beats the hell out of battlelog in every way shape and form. sorry

We all have to remember, this game JUST dropped! There's going to be bugs/glitches that annoy the hell out of all of us! I'm sure the same thing is going to happen when COD drops. I'm still having problems with lag/rubberbanding even though an "update" has come out. I think it's funny at times, but do get annoyed from it from time to time like when I shoot a guy 3 times in the face/chest with a shotgun point blank and all I get are hit markers and he shoots me and kills me in one shot. We all (including myself) have to remember that it's a NEW game. There will be bugs/problems. There will be bugs/problems. Semper Fi!!

LOL In the same token, I had a guy in my sights with an AK the other day from about 20 yards out. I hit the guy in the chest 3 times with a 3 round burst, (9 bullets if my education is not failing me) only for him to hit me with a shotgun blast, again at 20 yards away, and kill me. The commies need to work on their bullet making capabilities.

Does anybody know of a website or somewhere that shows the stats for all the weapons? I.e. damage, accuracy, etc.? I know the 7.62 does more damage than the 5.56, but I don't understand how an M4 can over power an AK? Can anybody help me find this info?
if its the ak 74 it is a smaller cartridge at 5.45 it is faster but slightly smaller.

I have 494 kills, 472 tags on Xbox, so not much rubber knifing. But I spent a bunch of time on PS3, and got 369 tags (394 kills), taking away from my main total. But you guys did teach me the love of tag-taking while I played PS3.
Anyone else have knife headshots? I have 2 on Xbox, but I don't remember getting them.

That doesn't make sense. Those tags must have dissappeared on you right as you were about to get them

Yea in BF3 you can kill a guy with the knife without taking his tags. You have to be either beside him or behind him to get the tags, otherwise you just smack him with the knife til he's dead...

Yes. "Slash Attacks" only do I believe 50% damage. You have to approach them from the back and perform a takedown. It's really quite cool (and more realistic), and quite exhilarating. I'll try to game with you this week.

Hey he did get like 8 kills with C4! I never got that many -I think the most I got was 7.
