After having the morning shot, I still decided to give it a go in the evening. Just before dark this 6 point came running down the hill. I got him to stop with 2 "Baas" at 20 yrds. I hestitated at first knowing he wasn't the biggest buck I've seen, but couldn't pass up a good thing. I've only heard bad things about the neighbor and feel its only going to get worst. Overall not a bad night except the bolt w/broadhead is firmlly stuck in the stump.

great buck brother, neighbors are like assholes we all have them, mine are cool, the farmer allows use to hunt on his posted farm, good for taking the kids out, don't have to worry about to many people and we all know were our tree stands are. I do mess with them sometimes, put a love doll in my one neighbor's tree stand one year.

Nice buck and twist int the bad neighbor story. so your not going to b eable to dig that one out of the stump?

I'm going to try and get it out. I'm sure I can recover the bolt but the Muzzy is shot. I'll attempt to cut the broadhead out to match up with another one. I have a old Satellite broadhead that pass through a 4 pt I shot and wedge into a deafall branch.

Never been hunting, if I did I would go hunting after something like a lion, or a wildabeest, something scary that could hurt you too. :p

My wife and I did our "Huntingmoon" to South Africa last year. The only one of the big 5 we didn't see was a rhino. Saw a leopard with a monkey kill, a few lions, elephants and some cape buffalo. If there was one animal that look like it wanted to kill us it was the buffalo. They also say the Gembuck is one of the most dangerous plains game animals.

I haven't hunted since I got back from my last time around in Bosnia/Croatia. I couldn't shoot animals after seeing what people did to women and children there for sport or hatred that they didnt understand themselves. I can shoot a person and on other deployments after that wasn't an issue.

I respect the hunting and love the good venison and will have some tomorrow. Especially bow and those crazy black powder guys.

I had a soldier that had the same problem with his Bosnia/Croatia deployment. We both saw some messed up stuff in Iraq. Religion, politics and pure intolerence.

I've hunted both with black powder (flintlock) and bow. Not much into today's in-line muzzleloaders. I do love the bow. It was hard to put in a case for nearly 8 years (deployments). This year made it three buck in-a-row with the bow.

Well the market snipers we hunted got me messed up and the the raping women and little girls to clean out the "bad" bloodlines. I saw a lot collecting intel and doing "arrests" of war criminals. It was strange but the Russian's in their sector even were appalled by what was going on and I teamed up with a team of their guys for a while. I became friends with their Defense Minister from that. He used to send us Vodka, caviar and really good sausages. I was lucky. I was a V Corps soldier but my MOS and training allowed me to be tasked out by my SGM to other countries and units, he allowed me to "volunteer" so it was my own fault if it sucked sometimes.
