What are good specs for gaming?

A question I have had is "what are the optimal specs for gaming with the 360?". I have a type N net gear router hard lining a speed of 26 mbs. I often wonder if it would make much difference to beef it up.

I forgot to mention I have two other xboxs and a wii pulling wifi.

Wireless N is great and all, but you only see a benefit if ALL the devices on your home network are also wireless N capable.

Its the same predicable as installing a 100port Gababit switch, when all the PCs on your network still have 10/100 NICs.
