Last night was my first meeting at West York Fire company No1. This is what I presented to them, along with actual historical documentation about the Tool used by firefighters even today. Those unfamiliar with the tool look up Kelly Tool. I am now a Pending Active Firefighter, Pending background check, and vote in at next meeting. I can th...en begin my training. The Awsome thing is that the training is 4 simesters/ modules. I have to pay up front but get the money righ back as soon as i pass certification. Way cheaper than Collage or trade school.hehe! Full training is about 7 months, but I also get to take calls and work( sort of internship) til then. Then maybe apply for paying positions anywhere I want in the area. Woohoo.
