Not to mention I heard last night that part the "issue" is that these remains were parts that were so far disfigured that they were not able to be placed or assigned to any single person so they were cremated and put in the landfill.

I don't give a god damn if you can tell who it is or not those are people, US Service Members, and you damn sure will show more respect than that.

What is wrong with people? ... not to mention ... How the hell can you be so cavalier with family like that?

It's a shame, it really is. My heart goes out to the families that have had to find out that their sons and daughters were treated no better than stray animals that were euthanized and discarded in such an ignorant manner.

Someone linked this article on Facebook and after I read it, I thought it was so outlandish that it couldn't be true.

I just don't get it. I really don't understand how our government has changed so much over the years and not for the better. This kind of stuff never would have happened 20 or 30 years ago. It's not like it costs a lot of money to put up unknown soldier graves.
