Here is just some friendly advice, buy turtle beach. I paid $130 for my 720ax and it's is now down cuz I can't get a $5 replacement cable for it. I wouldn't deem this reason for not buying one. In my search for the cable everywhere I went said the same thing "tritons are garbage". So I bought my daughter a turtle beach set and I must agree. My skull candies sound ten times better and they were only $80. This is just one mans experience.

Oh ok thanks...that makes me feel better about buying the TB ones, cos I couldn't afford the Tritons :)

I have TB PX21's and I think they're great for my PS3. When I finally get around to getting an Xbox, I'll use those for that. MjolnirActual has the new Sony PS3 wireless headset, and he wrote a good review about them here (http://usmilitarygamers.com/community/showthread.php?t=5251). He was raving about their quality. I may pick up a set as well.

I have the EF X31's and love them. I started out with the TB 2's when they first came out and just keep upgrading. my problem now is how to get the EF X'31 to work with HDMI. I can only seem to get them to work with the component video and RCA cables.

That was the first question last night when I bought my daughters x31's at GameStop. "are you hooking up hdmi". She rocks components so I thought nothing of it. They must know something I don't. Those kids at GameStop are smart as hell, hope they don't get real jobs, I need them.

So true. When I am deployed my wife goes to gamestop and let them do the shopping for her :) I get some great gifts from those kids,

I rock the AX 720's and love them...I contact customer support about my cable issue and they instead of replacing the cable, they sent a whole new headset...for free no questions asked.

That is why I went with my EF X11's. Actually it was my wife that hooked me up, and she went with the cheaper TB's. Anybody have a comparison between the X11's and X31's?

Same model with few exceptions. 11's are wired with both volume controls in line, 31's have main volume on headset and chat inline. 31's have to change batteries like every other day to 2 days dependent on your usage. Both have the same weight to them and both have the same feel in use. 31's tend to "Glitch" out as well, sound goes in and out (could be the age and usage on them as well). Also messes with some models of routers so I have heard.
I had to get rid of my 11's because of my cats and my dog. I now use the 31's

This just in... My Mad Catz black ops controller is the new casualty or war. The right bumper has given up the fight. Am I too hard on my gear or does Mad Catz deliver sub par goods? I'm starting to wonder.
I haven't had any issues with my Tritons. The only things I would change would be:
#1: No wires. Having to plug in an extra wire into my 360 controller is an added bitch.
#2: I cant hear my own voice in the headset.
Other than those 2 things, they're great for me.

I talked to him fine today...

Just got my oldest daughter a set to TB 31x's for Christmas. She refuses to wear them under the grounds "there Too heavy and hurt my neck". Really? Is this what our future holds, a generation that can't support the weight of their own head. I have only myself to blame. She is now rocking her OEM's, bless her.

Well, our kids seem to know everything...just ask them and they'll tell you so. It must be all of that brain they have to carry around...LOL.
