Ok once again I played with a group of USMG om MW3 and what happens...I am on the bottom of the score card....Its loads of fun but I am just going to toot my own horn.. I suck alot in comparison to most. Maybe I can just be the designated bullet magnet

Just run out in front of everyone :cool:. Nah, you will get better. Just work on your tactics by looking what others do.
Just realized if I am going to be a bullet magnet I might want to get points for it...time to equip the riot shield again...

If used right the riot shield could be very beneficial.

once you get all the guns unlocked, try them all out before you presteige. Find the right gun for you and then use the token to unlock it after you prestige. once you have the gun that matches your style start playing with the perks. If you die as much as I do and can't get the assault packages then do as I do and use the support or special. I used to be an assault rifle guy in all the COD games, I now use the PP90 with rapid fire and extended mags, for it matches my style very well. Its not that you are bad or we are better its just that you haven't found your style yet to feel like you are any good. I was at a K/D of as low as .35 and found the PP90 and am now around the .9 mark. You will get there with time and practice.

Hell yea, pair Extreme Conditioning with Quickdraw, and Steady Aim(all pro) and RUN LIKE THE WIND!

Pak is right...in Kill Confirmed tags are more important then kills. I love that if I am having a bad game and just cant get anything going, I can run around getting tags and still be helpful. I still play my best but if I'm sucking my focus and class choice change. If you pick up two red tags per death you are cutting the enemy's score in half. Make sure you match the right weapons to the right maps. Don't beat yourself up over bad games, learn from mistakes and most importantly HAVE FUN.
I am not utterly worried about being a mediocre player, I figured I had to post my insight to my level of game play. Plus it starts a casual conversation. Been a long time since I have played with actual clan members(since ghostrecon) now I know where I stand and need to step up my game is all and learn how to work with specific people vs random ones And btw thanks for letting me be part of the group...
P.S. Funny comment told to me by my older brother as he was visiting my house overnight. "Where you get that dinosaur?" (refrence to my original white xbox360)

LOL...its true...i'm that guy sometimes...don't worry loakii, it doesnt matter if your not doing well, just as long your having fun playing the game with us...your skills will develop over time...by the time you know it, you'll be on top of the score board...

Remember your mission statement, what is the goal? I am notorious for staying back on flags in domination. It doesn't look all hooah at the end but I'll be damned if someone is going to creep in and take what's ours.

Hey don't sweat it I suck as well and my K/D is only .55 but I do many things to support the group... Shoot down aircraft, call out enemy locations, collect tags, run point for others, put up recon drones and planes. That is why I joined this clan because they don't care about the K/D but the game and comradery. Someday I might be good till then I am happy in a support role!

yea man, its not always about k/d ratio for me. I feel like my "best" games are just the games I have the most fun in, win or lose, as long as your havin fun thats all its about!

I use recon in BF3 allot so I can mark and watch out for my teammates (By VOIP). I feel like I do a good thing and am usually at the bottom of the rankings when playing with USMG members. However, when I am playing with randoms I take over and own.
I always start my first couple of rounds at the bottom, but I usually figure out how to find points or kills by trying to adjust to my team/squad needs. I throw supplies or health down where my team has a bottleneck battle and then try to flank. I have an OK set of stats, but I prefer to help my team win. So sometimes in any shooter if there need be a sacrificial lamb or decoy I will run out and try not to die and then my team can spot a sniper or ambush. I have sat and spotted 3 snipers gotten hit and then I see a barrage from my team that gets em all. I know I did my job. Sometimes I run around near a tank and protect its back side from C-4 and RPG's then clear a building as they over watch me. All that mainly only works with the guys with USMG clan tags. :D

don't worry I'm the worst but everyone still lets me play, I don't have the reflexes I used too so I'm always at the bottom, no problem. No I still play when we have USMG clan events if I can, but when we have clan COD MW3 events I'll let the great players we have take it to the other clan's. This is just great stress relief for me, since I can't kill all the a-holes around the conference table I wait to night to at least kill a couple of people per match.

Hell just master the Tubes and you'll get more kills than you would without tubes.... A kill is a kill and flushes out the campers... well for me.... LMAO!!!!:p

Ugh. The newest "tube" seems to be the javelin. Running into way too many of those lately.
No worries about being good or not. Some days I'm terrible and can't get a positive game in and some days I do great. I'm very inconsistent, so I take support roles. Ballistic vests are great. You get 50 pts for every one a team mate takes and you'd be surprised how many take them for that extra protection. Can't tell you how many times they saved me from nades. The recon drone is great too. You tag them and get 100 pts per tag and your teammates can pick them off. It stuns them for a bit too when you first tag them. I also take advanced UAV for obvious reasons. Best part is if you die you don't lose your kill streak points like when you run assault. These three help me rank up faster to unlock better gear.
