Team, I need help

I recently acquired a free copy of AC: Revelations, from the back room of the store, in the boxes where the free editions are, and I'm about halfway through the game, *please don't spoil anything* and I get to a loading screen on one of Desmond's memories in the animus, the load takes about 2 minutes, I assume it crashed, I try to quit game and it shuts down and then reboots. After that, I try to start the game again and it freezes during the loading screen at the very start *one with the blue background and assassin logo*. I have separate profiles on my PS3, and it doesn't work on either one, so I don't know if that rules out a corrupted file or not, but there's nothing wrong with the disk. Can anyone help me out on this?

I am not sure how the game data works with multiple users? That would have been my first guess. Otherwise, I am not sure. :confused:

It sounds like a corrupted file. I would go in and delete you game data file (if that doesnt fix it go ahead and delete your save game and try again). but before you do that does your PS3 play other games???

i had the same problem with my ps3 and i tryed taking it back all the way to default settings and still did not work had a corrupt file for my black opps what i had to do is change my whole harddrive in the system you might have to do that.:cool:

I had the same thing happen to me and Sony wanted me to turn my PS3 in for Refurbishment. I changed out the Hard Drive myself and it worked after that, but I didnt keep the PS3 long after that so I dont know how long the fix lasted.....I sold that thing to Game Stop and picked up a X Box. Best decision I have made in my gaming career lol.

I remember that would happen on my PS2 memory cards back in the day, so I did exactly what Leprechaun did. I switched over to XBOX and haven't looked back. Especially since a lot of the franchise I really enjoy are multi-platform games so it works for me in the long run. I'd try a new game file bro!
