Hey guys my wife and I are looking into getting a new vehicle so we can have some room for the kiddo on the way. Just trying to get some ideas on some good catches out there. Not a huge fan of anything large and bulky, no trucks I still have the green machine (94 GMC) Just looking into something sensible and wondering if you guys had any good tips. I've heard NO DODGES from multiple people lol... anyways I appreciate the help!

Depends on how much your willing to spend. but if money isnt to much of a factor I would go with the Audi Q7 TDI.

Well I'm single, so all of the cars I know aren't kid friendly

For an SUV, my wife's pick would be a nissan pathfinder. Nissan's are trouble free. The pathfinder is big enough for the family, but still easy to park, etc.
As for a car, her vote would go the honda accord. Same as nissan, they run forever. I used to detail cars at our honda dealership, and I would get cars from the bodyshop that had 200K+ miles and they were still running strong.

I am a tall guy (6'3"), so imports don't suit me well...LOL! These are what my wife would pick. Actually, her first pick is a Jeep Wrangler Unlimited, but we don't have kids, so that is what we are going to get. :D

I have liked the new ford escapes and chevy traverse's. I personally have been shopping for a family hybrid. I spend so much on gas money just driving around town.

I agree, I have had a hand full of Nissan's all have been great cars/trucks. I currently have the frontier, and previously had a 180sx and a skyline. None of them ever let me down.

We have heard good things for sure about Nissans... we are looking into Altimas possibly car wise and what not. More around the 20-25,000$ range

I ended up buying my wife a Chevy Impala for the kid. I'm 6'4, so being able to fit is a big issue for me, and I fit great in it. We got a pretty good deal on it, and have been very happy thus far. Originally, we were looking for a Chrysler 300, for the same reasons.

Down the road I'll be getting a new rig, and it'll likely be an F-150 4 door, or a Jeep Wrangler Unlimited.
