Armored Core 5 Release Date Announced

Namco Bandai have announced the release date for FromSoftware Inc.'s Armored Core 5. The most intense and strategic mech game to do date will launch on March 20 for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. According to Namco, Armored Core 5, "revolutionizes the series with massive online multiplayer battles designed around huge team-based skirmishes on a grand scale, a robust offline mode, and a completely new atmosphere."

The game will focus on tactics and your ability to effectively use the atmosphere around you. You'll also be able to customize your Armored Core with "countless unlockable parts" in order to create your own personal weapon of mass destruction.

I never got into the armored core series, I don't know why but I lost interest after the second one. I can't remember the name of the game, but there was a multiplayer mech warrior game for the 360 that I loved playing.

Sounds pretty sick! I may have to pick up a copy of that one. I quit playing armored core after number two as well. It would be nice to see what the game has evolved into after almost 10 years!

Was looking for a new game to play and thought AC5 sounded nice. I see that it's been out for a while now and was wondering if anyone bought this and any thoughts.
