Wife scores one Whitetail doe

I don't know how many "Significant Others" (aka "Wives") that hunt. I made a suggestion to my soon to be wife a few years ago. I asked her if she would be interested in the sport of hunting. She said yes. Of course she was a little nervous at first and she is stilll learning but, she now has the confidence to go on her own. Here she is with her first doe (taken this past Saturday evening) of this year's hunting season. In three years now she has taken 6 Whitetails and 4 African animals (Springbok, Blesbuck, Impala and Zebra). The monster I created is getting larger than I can handle.

Yeah I do. I may just start a new thread with those pics. We went to South Africa on our "Huntingmoon." It was her idea. Our taxidermist just finished the Zebra and Nyala pedestals which I've been meaning to post to the forum.

I didn't think she would enjoy it but, she's loves it. I took a small archery buck three years ago. Right at the time she was getting ready for her first hunting season. She helped me track it and was totally unaffected when I field dressed it. She was intrigued by how the broadhead could slice through the ribs and the exact triangle pattern it made through the lungs. The only thing I really help her with now is shooting techinque and loading the deer into the bed of the truck. :D

My wife also got her first white tail this year..... but it wasn't with a gun or bow! And it cost me a $500 deductable.Thank god the Florida deer are only as big as my Doberman, and it didn't do much damage.

Judging by the height, your sure it was a deer and not a turtle? :D
