Just curious of how many gear heads we have out there, and I wanted to start a thread were we could post up pics of ur custom rides, give ideas, or get ideas from. Post anything from cars trucks vans bikes or even ur pimmped out huffy if that's ur gig. So I will start. Here is my 2009 Suzuki GSXR 1000. It is lowered four inches, stretched eight (when I got the stretch kit I hand painted the gsxr on them red), has a slip on dual jardine slash cut ex powder coated black. Power commander five, vortex mirror block offs, and a few inner body red LED strips. Dyno,d and tuned with 198 bph.

I used to sport the Durango. Then the boss and I had a 4th kid and the Durango needed an upgrade so we now have a 2011 Tahoe Z71 off road, Towing package and the Luxury package with the slide out step taken off. 4 headrest DVD players, dual sunroofs, Independent rear seat radio controls, heated and cooled seats and steering wheel. 2 memory driver seat memory tied in with each key fob and button on door. Trac control and stabilty response with assisted breaking. cylynder kick back when in O/D so it goes to 4 and not 8. Reverse alarm and colored rear veiw camera with trailer hookup assist. On stare as well and have an app on iPhone that I can start, stop, lock, unlock, Do a diagnostics on it, check fuel, oil, tire pressure, mileage, and a few other little things from anywhere as long as I have Wi-Fi. Love messing with her head from Kuwait:cool:

Its the only toy my wife as allowed me to upgrade from factory and she loves it.

Those are some real nice rides. I went for a ride tonight with about twenty other riders and we did a few runs at the end of the night..... unfortunately I loss my ass! My kick stand has a safety mech. In it and the kick stand budged down when I took off and it cut my engine off twice. Going to the shop to get it fixed tomorrow. Just have to bend it out a bit so it goes all the way up and no longer sits on my exhaust down pipe.

Very nice VTX JBas! My father has a nice crusier as well. An 07 Harley softtail, it is the night train, and he had the rear fender and handle barsbpowder coated textured Satan black. Also put one of the under tail led brake lights on it and a few other cosmetic things like smoked lenses and primary/stator covers.

Nice I sold mine 2 years ago for 25K. it was pushing 770 to the wheels. loved it on the autobahn over here until I went to the gas station every other day to fill up again, also just shifting gears was like a extreme leg work out.2047 here is a pic of the beast.

Years ago Oregon was fighting off the helmet law, I just assumed it would never pass. Until I got pulled over, the officer thought I was crazy as I thought he was for thinking I should be wearing a helmet. Those were the fading years of glory. Now I must look for new laws to break.

it tops out at 160mph on the speedometer, but on the system I had hooked up it said 189mph. who knows I could of gone faster when I was driving it around without the computer hooked up to it. the best time I ever had with it was when I first drove it home. LMAO!!!!! Scared the shit out of the locals that were outside looking at me pull up, never seen a old ladie jump back at a foot or two when I was roaring the engine with a little bit of step to the gas. lol.

For some reason I've gotten stuck into buying all black vehicles. When I first bought my 2010 mustang I was happy with the color black but when I noticed that it was easily able to get micro scratches and show dirt real easy. I said I would never get a black car again. Now I own a 2010 Roush mustang that's black. Hahaha!

SSSHHHHH Finally done. Posted earlier on this topic saying I was making some changes to my Orange VTX. Tore the whole thing apart. Painted it Metallic blue. Put it all back together. Added hard bags and audio fairing... It would of been a lot easier to pay to get it all done but in the end glad I can say me and my wife did it all on our own....and I only got written up once by housing due to doing automotive maintenance and my carport was a mess...haha.....Here is what it looks like now. So now yall will see me back on xbox more often.

SSSHHHHH Finally done. Posted earlier on this topic saying I was making some changes to my Orange VTX. Tore the whole thing apart. Painted it Metallic blue. Put it all back together. Added hard bags and audio fairing... It would of been a lot easier to pay to get it all done but in the end glad I can say me and my wife did it all on our own....and I only got written up once by housing due to doing automotive maintenance and my carport was a mess...haha.....Here is what it looks like now. So now yall will see me back on xbox more often.

And since its not considered a boat (classified as a rec raft) you can drink all you want, crank the tunes, and really wiggle into the fingers of the delta and do real fishing...plus you can make it custom for hardly nothing...it was really designed for just me and a beer raft...Sara and I took it for it's test and it was perfect for me, just tough to be comfy when we both were standing up jigging fighting each others equilibrium...sitting and trolling is a dream...

That's an odd combination you have. Japanese to American Muscle and German performance. I went from at turbo civic, to a 350z, then to a TL type-S and now to a Mustang. I have to say, though American parts suck, performance in my eyes is great. I would go with the gto 6.0 or even better the G8. I saw a G8 the other day with an aftermarket exhaust and it sounded amazing.

Myself and a few Friends have started a new Car Club. Since April we have grown to around 26 members and already have chapters in Florida (Panama City), Illinois (Granite City/St.Louis), New York (Yonkers), South Carolina (Shaw AFB), Iowa (Mountain Home AFB). If you are in any of those areas and want to join, or you are in an area not mentioned above and want to start a chapter where you are just hit me up and we will talk about what it will take for you to get the ball rolling in your area.

We have no dues, and no mandatory meetings. We are just trying to create a Car club (Mainly for Military) but open to everyone, so that no matter where you PCS to you have a family to hang out with. So far here in Panama City we have attended 5 Car Shows this year, and have taken home two "Best in Show" Trophies, and 3 sponsored top 10 trophies.

End of the Gold Bar Rim trail, Moab Ut, super gnarly getting there. There's a mandatory 8 ft ledge and the trail ends overlooking the highway into Moab. Then you have to turn around and go back the same way. Gave me a new appreciation of what those things can do.

He used to have a mini company that installed aftermarket parts on jeeps but he no longer does that anymore. He plans on putting lift kit on but nothing to crazy. He's at the point where reliabilty is more important that hopping from one rock to another lol

I have been looking at the K&N intakes and the Flowmaster exhaust. Are those good systems? I have a Flowmaster muffler on my truck and it sounds great my only concern is that the car will sound like a rice rocket and have that stupid tone to it.

I agree, K&N doesn't have the best ROI. There's much better options out there.

Flowmasters on cars don't work well usually. V8 are good, V6's are iffy, and everything else is bad bad....lol I don't have any suggestions though. :fencing:

Registration on my truck is $90 it used to be $150 but with handicap plates i dont have to pay weight fees, gas is outrageous its above $4 now. I have to smog it every other year because the county i live in is in the valley for the most part. If I were to buy a Challenger I would have to pay a gas guzzler tax so ya CA sucks thats why im getting my degree that allows me to go anywhere i want.

Not all that pimped out yet, but here she is. All that's been done so far is cosmetic stuff plus a BOSS oil cooler, JLT oil separator, RTR axlebacks, stainless clutch line, and an MGW shifter. All work has been done by myself to this point with one jack and a couple jack stands, and normal tools. Came stock with the base 300A package plus only Brembo package and Recaros.

Plans: Watts Link, Steeda Sport Springs and Koni Yellows, camber plates, adjustable rear UCAs and LCAs, 3.73 Torsen diff, Whiteline swaybars, '13+ GT500 rear brakes, air-to-oil cooler, FRPP radiator, full exhaust with long tubes and BOSS H pipe, stainless brake lines, brake cooling ducts, rear diff oil catch can/ventilator, Cobra Jet intake and custom tune (once warranty is up), and wider meats. Maybe other stuff like a Tiger hood and flush quarter window louvers but we'll see. The hood would actually be functional for cooling but it may not be needed. I also have to do some DIY stuff like box in the radiator for better cooling and devise some sort of open lower front fascia so I don't overheat at the track and a quick release mechanism for the grille/fogs so I can take them out for track days without having to take the front bumper cover off. All in due time though, I'm trying to stick to the plan of doing everything myself but some of the harder stuff will probably have to be done with help or by a professional. Working on this thing is providing me with some good therapy.
