New Laptop...

So the day before my birthday, I decided it was going to spoil myself a little and get a new gaming laptop on the go...I have an Alienware Area-51 M500 which I got back in 2005, but that thing weighs a ton...plus it finally took a shit on me...I guess having it deployed with me on 2 deployments will take its toll on it...but anyway, I went on getting something smaller, lightweight, and not too expensive...so I ended up getting myself an Alienware M11x...here's the options and specs I chose for it...

I've got a bunch of PC games, which I'm sure it won't have a problem playing them on max settings...so what are some new and great PC games out there these days, that's not on the console mind you?...:cool:...also, DOES ANYONE PLAY COUNTER-STRIKE?!?:rolleyes:

My plt sgt has one and places it next to his kids on the hierarchy. We also got to watch him play duke nukem for hours on the projection screen. Lucky us.... How'd the tat go?

lol, nice...as for the tattoo goes, I didn't get it done, but I'm still planning on getting it sometime soon...I'll keep ya'll posted and on the wife's reaction...lol...:cool:

With all the options I chose for it and with tax included, the total was $1197.71...:cool:

Sometimes you can check on dell outlet for their refurbished models and get them for a steal...they also have 20% off coupons pretty regularly. Since they're factory refurbished, they usually end up being more reliable since most parts have been tested twice. My family owns 5 or 6 refurbished models, and we've had no problems.

Right now, you can get (with a 20% off coupon), XPS models with i7, 8GB RAM, 1GB graphics for around $700. Inventory changes fast though.

That a good deal. Im looking to upgrade the wife laptop in a few months and saw somthing just like that.
