i think if we get this song and if everyone in USMG put at least one picture of them we can make a USMG intro video so new members knows somthing about including the civis. were all soldiers in the game of life one way or another. i thought of this while i sat in the car going through my music for a good song for my jav videos.

Five finger is good for all occasions, gaming, fighting, cooking, cleaning. Our B co. Is especially fond of their rendition of bad company. If I would add one more to the list it would be All that Remains.
Lamb of God, Hatebreed, Slipknot, As I Lay Dying, All That Remains. Any kind of metal really.

"Death is the Road to Awe" from The Fountain
I have many more if you guys like those 2.

I'd like to direct all of you --particularly our new members-- to our "Post your Current Top 5 Playlist" thread (http://usmilitarygamers.com/community/showthread.php?t=2138). Post your favorites there, and I'll add them to our Blip.fm station (http://blip.fm/USMG).

I like they're version of it too, plus "Far From Home" is a good one....

I like to listen to avenged sevenfold, they fucking rock.
I go along Rage against the machine, some NIN and rammstein. I powerlift, drive and pregame football with that kinda mix. Same as when I was prepping for a mission in the Army. Donning my gear with that mix in my headphones, the rage builds.

Of course if I want to get pumped up I'll listen to some Avenged Sevenfold, Linkin Park, Three Days Grace, or Evanescence.

I love to listen to Barry Manilow, whenever I am going on patrol. That shit rocks...lol
Almost forgot Tool. I remember watching them in a club concert in Frankfurt in 93. Then hanging out with them after their set til like 4 am.
Korn too but that concert was normal haha. I used to love Pantera, I vaguely remember a concert near frankfurt where they shaved a guys head onstage like the lead singer.

Why is it I can't find Tool in iTunes? Is it just me?
Similar to the Beatles and Metallica they do not support File sharing their music, so people have to buy their album.

Requiem for a Tower, from Lord of the Rings.
Annapolis Theme, from Annapolis.
Gael, from Last of the Mohicans. The version by the Royal Scots Dragoon Guard is the best.
And to finish with one of my favorites, Battle of the Heroes, from Star Wars Episode 3.
I'm right there with you on the love of a good soundtrack. Whether it be movie or game. Or even TV show sometimes.

Bullet for My Valentine, Avenged Sevenfold, Fiver Finger Death Punch, and of course Volbeat!

Avenged Sevenfold, As I lay Dying, All That Remains, Killswitch Engaged, Bullet For My Valentine, and Five Finger Death Punch. There's a lot more but these six stay running in my IPod.
I don't know about motivation, but I tend to listen to some vocal trance to help me calm down and relax. Wish I could spend some time in that speaker setup from the 5 gum commercials :-)

depends what type of motivation i need, If I'm lifting Metal can do the trick but same can some hip hop, I think I had this LMFAO playlist on pandora i was listening too and it actually pretty decent. Barry white provides pretty good Motivation if your about to go out to town with the front butt. Driving motivation always come from Country. And if im going to the clubs Take Care by drake has been motivatin me pretty good the last month.
Five Finger Death Punch- best motivational music of all time......

Felt like listening to WASP today so I dug out The Crimson Idol and turned it up loud.
Time to revive this thread. I listen to a little 5 finger death punch or rage against when I need motivation.

Both are great band but in the past couple years I've been jamming out to EDM to get me motivated.
If you like EDM check a DJ named Danny Avila.
Dude always gets me pumped up when I jam to his toons on soundcloud at the gym

Heh, that whole album gets me up.
Disturbed, Tool, NIN (Fixed and Further Down) are my usual suspects for the iPod when lifting. However, Eminem's MMLP2 is pretty good for it as well. Some 10 years ago, 'Till I Collapse was my finisher song, and his new album has some angry shit on it combined with some good beats. The last two minutes of "Bad Guy" are awesome, pure drive. I just wish the first four minutes of the song sounded like the last two.

Suicidal Tendencies trip at the brain and waking the dead.
Slayers crooked cross, raining blood, and black magic
You can never go wrong with Metallicas anesthesia leading into whiplash.
Megadeth peace sells, rattlehead, and in my darkest hour.
Iron Maidens number of the beast and aces high.
These songs are for when I have the urge to set the whole world on fire. Songs from my youth when all I wanted to do was set the world on fire lol.
I mix rage against the machine, ludicrous (old style), POD, Godsmack, rammstein, and the like. I have a football get angry motivation for powerlifting or football pregame and then I have the slightly longer calmer version for regular motivation.

Right now, I'm loving "Berzerk" by Eminem. Just a great tune.
Chickenfoot - "Oh Yeah"
AC/DC - "Thunderstruck"
Motley Crue - "Saints of Los Angeles"
Van Halen - "Stay Frosty" & "Chinatown"
The Dirty Youth - "Rise Up", "Fight", and "Requiem of the Drunk"
Just to name a few.
I listen to such a varity it's hard to say, currently I'm on a kick of Disturbed, Korn, System of a Down, Dropkick Murphy's and some other bands along those lines.

I feel a bit like Foxtrot... it depends on the mood, the game, and my particular liking at the time.
I am ever evolving... maybe I will reach puberty someday.
Here is my list for when I was playing COD -3 the other night.... that's right COD3 ROCKS....lol
"Flight of the Valkyries" - Migel Del Oro Orchestra - this is a great song when you are in a tank on the game.
"Fortunate Son" - CCR - For the rebels among us.
"Sam Stone" - John Prine - If you haven't heard this, try it... timeless.
"Life During Wartime" - Talking Heads - Shear chaos... as in real life
"Goodnight Saigon" - Billy Joel - If you are a Marine, this could have been a close runner up for our second hymn.
