Infected Lobby?

Someone kept inviting me to play with him saying he was hosting an infected lobby. Can anyone tell me what that means? The only thing I know about "infected" is the title that you can earn.

I think that's it - I've never heard of it in any other contexts /wrt Modern Warfare. I got it one match but I've never put the title on.

I believe it's a private match game mode. You have to try and survive. Once someone dies they turn "infected" and run around with a knife. I think. I'll check it out.

I agree with recon. There is an alternative game mode called infected. Tried it out but you need more than two players for this.

Thats what it is.....you have to play it in a private match so people try to get a group of random people together in order to play it. I wish MW3 would just put those games online kinda how Black ops had the gun game and stuff. I know you dont have money to bet but they can atleast put up XP or something for the top 3 players or something.

Thanks for the info. That sounds significantly less gay than just people trying to earn a title. I agree that they should bring back some of the games from Black Ops, Gun game was pretty bad ass.
