weird, Ide have to "Try before Buy" looks promising...
I was using the ps3 Piranha before GameStop even started carrying the Shark. Splitfish makes a solid product but they are sensitive, so long as you don't bang them around and screw up the optic or mess up the firmware install you're good. The Shark, is the only one in the line up of their products that doesn’t need the firmware actually. The Xbox line, is brand new so I really cant comment... but if it is based off the Shark it should be good. You might wanna look at razer's new Xbox controller, that they just put out I hear it's better and yes they are doing a PS3 line very soon.

Like I said it is awkward at first, so don't be surprised if you really stink when you first use it.

I think i'll stick to my 360 controller. Plus $89.99 is a bit too much right now.

Will do, once I get it...

If you were playing on PS3, I'd say get the Piranha. because it runs as much as a PS3 controller lol. but I don't think there is a Piranha for Xbox...but I could be wrong. You should check their site http://www.splitfish.com/.

I just checked...they only got the Frag Shark for the 360...the only gripe I have with it is that I gotta purchase a licensed wired controller to get it to work...but it's not a problem, I'll get one of those Street Fighter 4 wired controllers, which is like $15 or so...

I just started using the Xim3. It allows you to play the game with a mouse, keyboard, gamer's pad or flight stick set up. To set it up to play on the PS3 cost me about $250 for everything but since I was a big PC gamer it feels better and so far I really like it.
Here are the Razer's, I mentioned earlier. http://store.razerzone.com/store/razerusa/en_US/pd/productID.218524000/categoryId.54297600 http://store.razerzone.com/store/razerusa/en_US/pd/productID.218523900/categoryId.54297600

Just bought the FragFX Shark 360. I'll post a full review after it arrives.

The Xim3 works awesome so far. I actually use it on the PS3, which can be done easily with the use of an adapter. I use it with a G9x gaming mouse and a X13 game pad.
PS3 version is just plug and play.
Wait, so I have to leave the wired controller plugged in ALL THE TIME?! I thought it was just for initial set-up....

Yea, it's gotta stay plugged-in the whole time...I dunno if you noticed, but there aren't any third-party wireless controllers for the Xbox....only wired controllers that are licensed for it...:(

I bought that about 2 months ago, and thought it was going to be great but it turned out to be a let down. It's kind of tricky to get it to work the way you want it and the toggles are hard to push in. I'm not sure but it seems that when i use the auto with some guns like mk14 the recoil is worse than when i would just use my normal one. you might say that it's because it's on auto (duh) but i can shoot the same speed with my finger and the recoil isnt near as bad.

Just ordered the Fragfx Shark 360 today...should be in by Friday...I'll post my thoughts about it once I use this bad boy...;)
Ok so I forgot to do a review on this, my bad. Where do I start, oh yea, I hated this thing. Let me first day that the quality of the product is great. It has a great feel to it material-wise. Its made of smooth hard plastic and rubber, ergonomically however, it's a nightmare. It's too big and clunky. There are 2 versions of this thing; the Xbox360 and the PS3 versions. Be aware that the 360 version does require you to have a wired controller plugged in AT ALL TIMES. The PS3 version does not need a wired controller at all. Keep that in mind if you have both consoles and are considering which to buy it for. Now, that being said, if you have a headset for 360 that is wired(like my Triton BO Pros) then you will be tethered to the wired controller via headset, which in turn is tethered to your console. So it really doesn't matter that the FragFX is wireless, cause you'll be leashed by that damn wired controller somehow.
The Fragchuck, as they call it, has 3 "L1" type buttons on it. One too many in my opinion. You can't comfortably reach all three. It doesn't feel right. I never found the correct movement setting to suit me, it always felt either too fast or too slow. I didn't even try to use the custom button mapping features, I didn't have the patience.
I didn't have any problems with the action buttons on the mouse, I know alot of people say they're hard to push in, mine weren't. I did have a problem reaching all the action buttons though. I found myself pressing the wrong one frequently. It just didnt fit my hand correctly. But the main thing I couldn't stand was the aiming motion of the mouse. I ALWAYS ran out of room when I moved and had to pick the mouse up to scroll over more, which would make my character perform an epileptic fit.
Bottom line: If you play FPS's on PC and want to move to console, this is your bag baby. If you've played console all your life, then your gonna hate this thing and return it to get your $100 back like I did. Hope this helps somebody.

That's funny cuz I just ordered mine right before you posted this. Well I guess SSG G, you won't have to blaze this trail alone. I hope we can adapt and overcome this beast cuz I was really excited about it.

Been playing with the Fragfx Shark for the pass few hours now...it's gonna take a few games to get use to the button layout but it's not that hard...I had no problem adjusting the sensitivity to my liking...so far from all the games that I played tonight, I was able to get better precise shots with my rifle and quicker reaction than the enemy...I love this damn thing so far...

Hells ya bro...I'm use to it now...I had to mess with the settings for the sensitivity for a bit to get it just right to my liking...once I got it right, it was smooth sailing from there...I not using the mouse pad that it came with cause it was too small...I'm using my old mouse pad that I used to play Counter-Strike with...it's a 12"x16" mouse pad...gives me plenty of room to play with the mouse...:D
The clock is slowly clicking away the seconds until March 6th, the day that gamers everywhere will take back Earth in Game Rant’s Most Anticipated Game of 2012, Mass Effect 3. But just like you wouldn’t attend a wedding in grimy, torn jeans, you won’t want to save the world using just any old junky controllers, right?

I'm really thinking about getting one. I like the stops on the triggers for faster single shot fire. Plus the little tabs on the back can be configured for knifing or maybe even to go prone for fatser drop shots.
What you guys think??

there is absolutely no way I would be able to use that....
