Annoying Site scaling phenomenon on IPad...

I've noticed some users sig block with IPad credits in them. I was wondering if anyone who uses safari to browse the forums here have to cycle through normal full screen viewing during loading, then suddenly to only a quarter or so screen sized, squished and orientated to the lower left. I can then pinch pan to full size, but every reload repeats. Annoying at worse, but extremely aggravating when playing around for a bit here. Any help is appreciated...

I have tried viewing the site on an ipad and noticed the same thing you are talking about. It was to hard to view that way so I just used laptop. Smoke might be able to fix that though.

I get the same thing on my iPad. I just pinch-expand to view. Or double tap the screen

I do not have an ipad, iphone, or a mobile device for that matter. I wouldn't have the foggiest where to begin..

Can you give me all the information (make, model, specs, browser, patch level, etc. of your devices), and perhaps a pictures of the problem would also be very helpful.

I can report it to the vbulletin support team, and see if they have a solution.

No, I don't have it anymore. Maybe airborne can help you out and get you a pic or video of it.

Can you rerun this test using the default theme? I'd like to see if its related to the template or not.

...of RELIEF! I made the changes you suggested and instantly the USMG website has improved 100%! I typically give up floating around the forums on the IPad because of the constant resizing, but no more! Now it loads much smoother and maintains the proper aspect...thanks a million Smoke...you made that too easy, want another? I

BTW, thanks guys for chiming in and especially for posting that video so the guru could get eyes on target!

Next issue...any IPad users familiar with the "Manage Attachments" section? After upload, you have to drag and drop to the bar below, and finally click "Done" to finish. So, is there a setting somewhere in iOS to allow dragging, or to lock scrolling by touch so I can? I can use safari "click and copy" but the section you drop pics off in doesn't allow pasting...swish that around for bit... no rush or worry,just figured since I had your attention, I'd slip it in...
