I just noticed this yesterday and I don't think a lot of people realize it, but if you hear gunfire and you're trying to figure out where it is without a UAV, all you have to do is press start and it brings up the map. Any recent activity from the enemy will be displayed with red dots like in core matches. Just be care you're not in the open when you check your map...

Which game is this for?

MW3... If you're talking about game mode I found it while I was playing kill confirmed... I figured it would be the same for all hardcore modes but I could be wrong. I'll have to test it some other time, I'm taking a short break from COD. It's been... Upsetting lately. -.-

This does work for all hardcore game modes. Only problem is it leaves you vulnerable while you check, but oh well.

The trick is remembering that youre the only gold arrow. Train your eyes to zoom in on the gold and be wary of the red. So hit the start button, skim faster than you skimmed through your first school chapterbook report assignment, and hit the start button again. That way you have an answer to the often asked question 'left or right?' and you dont waste too much time staring at the screen making you vulnerable...

This also works for every game back to World at War I'm sure of. Just not sure about Modern Warfare 1. This helps a ton in HC S&D if you're looking to become a little more tactical with your gameplay. If anyone is wanting to hit up S&D I'm always down. If you play S&D for a while I'm guaranteeing you're kills per death sky rockets up in other game modes for sure.

Yeah ive played you before in KC, Sticky. Next time I go to S&D, I'll invite you. Its fun for awhile especially when you have some good strategies, but I like that constant action, so I find myself going back to domination and KC.

As a clan we need to coordinate strike package assignments when playing together.
When I played hardcore, I would go with all stealth perks. You stay off the HUD and rack up the kills, stay on the perimeter and camp when necessary. Claymores are your best friends, put them in high traffic areas or just outside of your camping ground (lol) to use it as an early warning system, if someone is trying to sneak up behind you. If your going to camp, setup somewhere with a good choke point and make sure you use your claymores to cover those entry points you're not watching. but don't stay too long either... kill enough of them and when they respawn they'll just rush you, overwhelming you thus ending your kill streak.
for MW3 I'd use the following
Assassin pro
Blind eye pro/Scavenger pro (with Scavenger pro, you sacrifice some stealth but you keep your Claymores and Ammo replenished)
Stalker pro/Dead Silence pro (just in case anyone is camping and sound whoring)
ACR/Silencer if you have the 2 attachment perk on your weapon throw a holo or red dot on there too
FMG9 or MP9 Silenced
Claymores
Flash bangs/Stuns to get out of a jam (should you find yourself in one)

I've been running Specialist package more and more with HC and doing well...or maybe it's just because I've been using the ACR more with HC...

I know that I don't give a rats ass about my k/d or any stats really so I can be the support guy that annoys the hell out of everyone with recon drones and such.

Name the package you want whether it be assault or support and I'll run with it.

Aim slightly left. That's what I do
