It was fun on the second tour operating with the Polish. Their HIND-Ds would fly over and I could scream RED AIR RED AIR!!! over the net for a good laugh. The newbies would ask what was so funny....

Make a b-line for the Fulda Gap!

This looks like my kind of game, and I'm also an "old timer" familiar with that training doctrine. Unfortunately, my laptop CPU is just a tick slower than the minimum requirements. Oh well. Maybe next time.

half way cool just getting into it we had nato vs sov just to say a lot of ripped up vehicles.

lol yeah, our arty was tearing each other up. There at the beginning my concentrated Arty fired stalled your advance.
A Mech. Inf. assault backed up with Tanks and Atry was very nice, punched right through your lines :cool:
But you had taken out my supply lines with your flank, so they where out of fuel once the attack was done.

You won in the end by taking out my FOB, and supply tucks.

I was just doing what the Guderian said to do attack in several axis's and have reserve to follow through not that time it came down to 2 bmp1 that got view of your Hq units and was able to drop art in, with that a typical sovit win if it can't rain art then let it rain snow pass the vodka comrade.

this game is great, the combined arms attack is great, played several games this weekend 3 vs 3 and 4 vs 4, I'll have to post a pic of a game there was one objective Nato was pushing on I had cheap ASU-85/122 assault guns about 40 backed by BTR's with anti tank inf. Incomes leopards and maruders bang stopped them, then lets my art drop at the same time been saving up t-72 and BMP-2, counter attacked with back up of 23-4 for aircover, sure enough the nato player sent in cobra which hit the ASU-85/122 line but was then knocked out with my 23-4, my t-72 and bmp-2 made short work of the remaining NATO troops and pushed on to take out a Nato objective after it was done there were 100's of burnt out tanks in between the 2 objectives. Mother Russia won that one but I have taken it on the chin more, then given one due to NATO tech advantage.

Here are some high level screen shots of a start of a game I have my drunk russian set to rsuh objective JOT and Constatine. I also have my FOB set with ZSU23-4 to take out Nato air.
