I just logged in to MW3 today and found that I am no longer in the clan. I'm not sure if it's an Elite update issue or if I've been booted for some reason. I'm sure you guys wouldn't boot me without at least telling me why, so I'm sure it's just a technical issue. Any help would be nice. Thanks!

It doesn't even appear that you are a full member of our clan... You might need to get verified first. Second there has been talk on the forums about cuts of inactive members (on elite, but your need membership here first). You might not have seen that since you aren't active here. So get with a member of the green team on xbox and try to get verified.

I played a game with everyone just two days ago. I'm sorry if I haven't been active recently, but that tends to happen when you're busy getting ready to deploy. I don't mean to sound rude, but it's usually courteous to let a guy know before you just boot him out like that. I've been a member for a few months now, and I've played many games with a lot of guys.

Well, a few months is an overstatement. I believe it's been about a month and a half or so. But I've still been active in game, if not on here. I'm not much of a blogger.

You say you have been a member for a few months, but your name is still pink, you have just been gaming with us. It has been posted on the boards for a couple of weeks or longer about cuts. You would know if you checked in on the site. You have a total of three posts. One being why were you kicked from Elite! You have time to play, but not log on here? Best way to get this sorted out it talk with a member of the green team, get verified and then ask for a spot in elite again. Thanks.

To quote the posting on Elite:

"Inactive members were cut today. These guys are still apart of the clan. They're just cut from Elite. Were mistakes made? Maybe. If so, get to the same site you applied at and say something. You were most likely cut for game and forum inactivity. That's right. Some of your clanmates don't even know who you are and have never played a match with you."

I'd suggest sending a message to Pak if you think you were one of the accidental cuts. But as DB already said, the forums are just as important to the clan as any single game is.

Sorry, I didn't realize I had to post to remain a member. The clan is named military gamers, not military bloggers. I gamed. I don't really see the necessity for posting online about a game, when I can just play the game instead. And no, I honestly don't have time to be on here even weekly. I work 60 hours a week, plus pre-deployment training. I thought a group of military members would be able to understand that.

Sorry, I really didn't mean to sound rude. I've been a little swamped lately. Thank you, spyder. I'll message Pak to see if he'll reinstate me, and I will make an honest effort to post more often. I appreciate the assistance. Also, I probably should've checked the blogs before deciding to rant about it on the support forum. Thank you once again.

Hey man I know the guys understand. There are a couple of steps when you register to be a member of the actual clan not just elite. I know other guys who only game and post maybe 5 times in 3 months. I think that's all that they are saying. Contact pak he said some will be deleted accidentally and to let him know, but do it tactfully. There is no need for either person to get heated about minor infractions of policy

Honestly, I am very sorry. I really enjoy gaming with USMG, and I just am a little frustrated with many things in life right now. It was just another thing. Seems rather foolish to get upset over a simple error that I could've just read about on the forums. I do appreciate all the assistance, and I'll get with Pak. Thank you all, and once again I apologize for losing my head for a while.

I'm not positive but i'm pretty sure I was in the group he was in a couple days ago, so without looking back I think he's g2g for playing well with others.

Bildge, you are correct, you were in that party. I've sent a message to Pak, I'm sure everything will be taken care of. In the meantime, I'll start looking around the forum for ways I can become more active in the USMG community.

Check out the on leave section. Let's guys know if you aren't going to be around. I'm with ya on the posting thing. I'm pretty new to forums. Just don't always have anything worth saying.

Also, random question that ya'll may be able to help with, but utterly irrelevant to anything, how do I upload an avatar? I go to the edit avatar page, but there's no upload button.

We understand, we do.. We aren't a hardcore gaming clan, we are a casual community, and it has always been in our rules that forum participation is a core requirement of USMG. We just like to see your shiney-beaming-man-grill!

PS - You get access to avatars once you are accepted as a full member. ;)

settings (top of page) ->My settings-> edit avatar-> you can have an avatar via an online storage or upload it by clicking browse. There is a size limit of the avatar though .

Note: The maximum size of your custom image is 90 by 90 pixels or 19.5 KB

you can use an editor like ms paint or I use Infranview @ http://www.irfanview.com/ (http://%22www.irfanview.com/%22;%22INfranview%22)

If you have a smart phone I'd recommend getting tapatalk. its really easy to use and it will show you all the new threads when you open it and if you post something there is a tab to keep track of those threads easily. Its so easy this air force guy is willing to do it :)

Pak, this is a military forum. For some of us, Counting may not be as easy as you think.

I got a fever, and the only prescription, is more Tapatalk.

I am sure if you look around the site you will find something that will spark your interest. We ask this of our members because we have had and have a lot of members just come in here to be able to fly the USMG tag in game. We have learned the hard way on this and don't want anyone out there displaying USMG and being D Bags. No biggie N1GH7SHAD3... Just an honest mistake and both ends. Happy Gaming and Be Safe on your upcoming Deployment!!!
