yo,

just got this high speed headset for MW3. Amazon had it for 100 bucks less then anywhere Ive seen so i bought it with some of that good old uncle SAM tax return money. 215 buck w/shipping. You won't be disappointed with this piece of gear. It also has a bionic ear so you can hear yourself speak. You can be communicating but really whispering and the team will hear you no problem. It also has several different modes that amplify sounds in game specific on your style and for MW3, example: a setting that amplifies footsteps so you can hear the putter patter of little feet behind you in your sniper hide. Great buy!

I just got the turtle beach x12 headset and i'm loving it as well. My standard Microsoft headset took a dump and for $60 you absolutely can't beat this. You can hear everything in the game as well as yourself in the chat.

I wish I could do that but my wife doesn't really appreciate listening to it all the time. Although its a catch 22 cause I can't hear anything but the game when I'm wearing them so I get accused of "shutting out the world" when I'm wearing them.

Now if she's around i'm to the point where I just put it around my neck and turn up the volume so I can hear the game. Even then I still get complaints but... What can you do?

I just picked up a pair of these myself but I got the Earforce Deltas... I think they run about 300 or so they come with blue tooth connectivity and the sound is amazing 7.1... If you have the money pickem up they will change your game!

Catch 22? More like added benefit. I paid $80, I think, back in the day for my 31's, the wireless TB's. Every day I get to crank the volume and tune out the world, is another day that $80 was money very well spent. :p:D

I had the 31s myself and loved 'em used them for probably a year before upgrading to the cadillacs I currently own!

I am wanting to upgrade from the cheap free chat headset, I am thinking of getting the mw3 one as well, but has anyone tried the rocket fish universal one. It seems good, but no one in my circle of gamers at home has used em. I wish my px21's hadn't been used in a tug a war by the kids or that my nice sony wireless set would work on 360. But I digress, looking to stay hopefully under 100 for the best surround and durable set.

Edit: so I was looking at these, I was thinking of getting the bravos. Which set did you guys get
