Good find, but Newegg charges tax in CA. Amazon has it for $40 no tax also.

Amazon matched them at $35.99 for the physical card and online code version. Just purchased and applied to my XBL account.

The yearly charge might go away, with the new dashboard that is ad heavy. If they can generate enough money from all the ads we might catch a break, but knowing corp America I still think they will charge to make a extra buc.

I doubt that the charge will go away. They make way to much off us to do that. Just my .02 though.

I got it a couple Weeks ago and it was back up to $42. Should have done it when it was $35. It was still 35 if you wanted to wait for it in the mail.

As an FYI for any who have the family gold accounts (4 for price of 2). I bought 2 of these 12 mos figuring 70 bucks was better than 99. But it wouldn't let me redeem the cards. I had to take a family member out and apply them to that account, then after 5 days I could bring that account back into the family which then applied the two years to the family account. Good thing I did it a few weeks early.
