I agree. I played for a good part of a month when it first came out, but then realized that I was the only one playing amongst my friends. So I deleted it...hahaha!

I was reading some of the comments of this story at the link that follows, and some of them harken back to the discussion we've had regarding the story about the "end" of the $60 game. In particular, this point that Jxspyder made regarding replay value (http://forums.usmilitarygamers.com/showthread.php?7265-Article-Is-the-end-of-the-60-video-game-near&p=82851&viewfull=1#post82851).

I'd say Dave was pretty spot on with his opinion.

It seems that the level of entertainment players receive from Draw Something might be drawing pretty thin at this point.

Only a few months ago, Draw Something seemed like the hottest app on the market. Now, the Pictionary-like mobile app is loosing players by the millions. Zynga bought Draw Something creator OMGPOP for nearly $200 million in March, but according to BBC News, WebMediaBrands data suggests that almost five million daily users have abandoned the game over the past month.

Haha!!

On that note though, my newest favorite phone game is Angry Birds Space. It's good for a distraction while sitting around waiting for the doc. And the whole "in space" part was amazingly well done. Is a blast.

It was only a matter of "if", not "when", the makers of this game jumped the shark tank.

CBS Picks Up ‘Draw Something’ Reality Pilot

By NELLIE ANDREEVA | Friday June 15, 2012 @ 6:44pm PDT

CBS said it has ordered Draw Something, an unscripted pilot based on Zynga’s game, which counts some 100 million US players. The project is executive produced by Ryan Seacrest and Michael Davies. Per the network: “Each week, teams of celebrities and everyday users will test their skills in front of a studio audience to earn money and big laughs. Viewers can also play along at home for a chance to win prizes and compete with the celebrities.” Embassy Row, Ryan Seacrest Prods. and Sony Pictures TV are producing, with Adam Sher exec producing alongside Seacrest and Davies. CBS has brought hit digital properties to primetime before. Its comedy series $#*! My Dad Says was based on a popular Twitter feed.
