It has a free trial...I think it costs to play after that. If only Dust 514 was coming to Xbox as well, I would probably already be on this.

Crzy, I can hook you up with a 21 day free trial, after that it is $14.95/month. The game is so much better than C&C, you would have to play it to fully grasp the game. Imagine, open world sandbox, in endless space. I tested it, and it takes the better part of a day to travel from one end of the universe to the other. I wouldn't recommend doing that, I lost three ships trying it.

Best way to describe Eve is it's WoW/TOR (an MMO), that takes place fully within ships. It's amazingly in-depth, but also an amazing time-sink, with skill upgrades taking days in real-time. It's actually kind of fun when you get high enough to stage raids and stuff. Or....mine and sell.

There are tutorial missions that show you the different jobs you can follow. But after that, it's pretty much whatever you want to do. Killing pirates, mining, refining, trading.....basically whatever you want.

I have to agree, this is more than just sitting around doing nothing. You can have fun now, you just need to realize what your capabilities are in the game.

i third what timmy and spyder said, the game is fun based on what u wanna do. Other than most people say the game is really fun and when u get tired and wanna take a break u can set autopilot and mine, transport, or move from one system to the other. Hell i do it all the time when im on. I'll sick my Hulk ona roid belt that has precious Pyroxes and set autopilot and away it goes on mining untilits full. If ur interested in joining us in EVE Sig then let one of us 3 know and we will helpu get started. One of us can more than enough help u. But if u need a veterans advice then me or Timmy would be ur best bet. We need as many people as we can so we can have a good amount of people on EVE side for when Dust 514 comes out. The isk will be coming in alot then lol.

I just hope River and then conquer some good planets for us to populate and instill Martial Law of the USMG.

Eve? Nope, nothing like. It's (insert ultimate space fantasy simulator here......x-wing vs. tie fighter) meets World of Warcraft.

It's a persistant MMO, that has you taking the role of a pilot, or capsuleer. It's exceedingly open world though, so you decide what you want to do, how you want to play, and where you want to go.

It's an MMO flight sim-ish game. It's not free flight, but pretty damn close.

Roger that, I have talked to the Corp that I have been with since I started laying. They sounded very interested and already set your status to Blue to open the lines of talk. AS for funding the alliance I pretty much fund my personal army lol Im sitting on about 6 bill isk lmao so if we need isk to make it happen Im willing to sponsor as this will become profitable for all and help when dust rolls out. Plus we have major mining ops and tons of LVL 4 missions and even participate in wars as we have a multi alliance going on. I seen you are located out in caldari region, Im in minmatar region but would be hard to reloacte etc. I want to see if we can coordinate a sit down over TS3 and hash out details to make this mega force rolling :)

I got up to 2M EVE credits in my first 8 hours of play... then I looked on the market and realized 2 million isn't shit! I'm by far, not a grinder, but if you like a grind at your own pace game, this one is for you. I'm glad I tried out the 14 days free trial. Although I played a total of about 12 hours in the 1st 2 days and quit, at least I tried for it to peak my interest... I may be going back to SWTOR now that 1.2 patch finally hit, after my 2 months of not logging on.

This sector you are in. I assume it is controlled by the Corp you are in? If so, what are the chances that we can get passage into that sector and setup a small base camp in the area so that we can be closer if this alliance makes any headway?

Pretty good chance. We will have to work the logistics Rolf scouting and getting the jump portals set up for a fleet jump portals to make it work.

Alright i think it sounds good to me, being in low sec is where we can make alot of money, its just we will have to move to the nearest high sec system to prep for the move, but im all for it. i was in low sec before and it was fun, as long as we are safe from enemies we can make a good home. MAster Wallet is what we are operating out of until we get some more solid divisions.

Where do I begin...LOL! I was in the beginning tutorials, where you have to blow up the fuel depot, then the next where you learn stargates. I finally figured them out. I think my biggest thing is when Aura was telling me to open "XYZ window" I didn't know where the windows were located to open them. I just got my pilot certification done, and am getting ready to move on to the next and see I they get easier for me. After the Aura tutorials, I just started opening every icon to see what they were, that way I would know if I was told to open them. I don't know why I have such a hard time wrapping my head around this game? :boink:

Datacore farming got seriously nerfed with the FW update so I'm thinking Misions/salvage, Incursions, and PI are the main ISK makers now.

Actually, Datacores are still very viable, yes they were nerfed, but there is one still in major demand. Electronic DCs. I typically sell (1) for 200k-225k, that hasn't changed much at all since "nerf". Granted they go for 10k each now, but still a lucrative market. Also, one decent way to make isk is to run mission for one of the industrial corps....the simple distribution missions. Rarely is ever any combat, and you just move stuff from one place to another, lower missions, short hops...a system or two. The reason for this is so you can farm nexus chips. Those chips are needed to create racial ships. Frigate ones for for good money and cost 500 loyalty points per.....which can easily be made, granted not at first, but in higher level missions, you'll yield 2 or 3 in a mission. Which adds up.

Don't count out datacores! Set it and forget it! I pull in 10 mill a week for doing.....NOTHING. Its not much, but enough to play with on market trades.....plus all the LP I get for running missions for LaiDai...you can add on another 12000000 million to that! Yes 120 MILLION for nexus chips. They cost 500 LPs and no isk....they typically go for 1.5 to 2.5 million...some distant markets....3.5-5 MILLION on average....depending on supply!

Distribution/Mining is UTTERLY BORING, I know....but you can make massive cash....just be careful NOT to flood the market....EVE market works like a real world commodities market. You could however DRIVE a market price down and force your cometetors to match you and try to undercut your price....then when its low enough, you buy them out...and only but 25% back on the market and at a MUCH HIGHER value.

Salvaging....another great way to make cash..simple and effective, but not always consistent, but easy none the less.

I do security, distribution and mining missions for Lai Dai for LP. Distribution is easy because you can jump in a cargoship, pick up a bunh of distribution missions, and bring the stuff where it needs to go. High sec level 3 missions uusally have you only go about 7 sysyems out...and its always along the same susyem routes. I also tether security missions and run them with two or threes toons at once to piggy back the faction standings.

Yes, they will have the corp set to red standings and will look in local to find the little red marker next to your name, then they set u as a contact, and they will know when u are atleast logged on. If you see a flashing person in your system, near you, thats a war target and you had best GTFO or fight.

yes i put graphics to the lowest level and still had to play and also when i shut game down my screen turns all orange and shit n i have to restart laptop

ok brothers i stared with a 60 dollar fish finder for a reel and rod i trade this for a wii and to games n no trade wii n 2 games for a dell inspiring i know i misspelled this but it was upgraded very fast has amd graphic card and all so what i am getting at is by friday i will be up and running on eve see yall there
