A couple of Vietnam vets from a city not far from where I live just scored $14 million in Powerball. I thought it was classy that they intend to give some to veterans programs.

A couple of retired veterans are West Virginia's newest millionaires.
Michael Shaver and Ronald Simmons, from Weston, are sharing $14 million after winning last Wednesday's Powerball drawing.
The two Vietnam vets have been friends since grade school, and every week for the last 25 years the two men have played different birthday combinations of their children.
This last time, they matched all five numbers with the Power Play option, doubling their winnings from $7 million to $14 million.
The two say they plan to use some of their winnings to help programs for veterans. As for the store that sold the men the winning ticket, the 7-Eleven in Weston will receive at $100,000 selling bonus.
