Does anyone know if you can hook up a hard rive to one of the tablets, whether its a I PAD or Samsung/Motorola? I am looking at taking a tablet overseas but all my movies would be on a hard rive and from what i gather, you can't hook up USB's to the tablets. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I was just googling that today. For the school district I work in. I am going to research the galaxy adapter.

I know ASUS's Transformer pad has a lapdock that turns it into a netbook, and you can use the USB ports to plug in mass storage devices. I think most of the tablets that have lapdocks can do this.

I use thumbsticks and my 1tb external HDD on my Xoom all the time, just need a rooted device and a micro-to-normal USB cable.
