I wish they would just portray military people as being normal we have enough bad press out there as is. My who life I've been know more as a Marine rather then a good respiratory therapist and now doing pharm research same thing for the last 17 years, I still thought of a nuckle dragging ape some of my co-workers are scared to death of me that I make them cry when I give feedback. I'm proud of bing a Marine but rather leave it to talk with other vets who understand rather then the spoon feed desk jockeies I deal with everyday.

Now this is longer than I wanted, still not pissed, but more confused about these proud Aces I'm not to "ask about"...there's one thing I hate and surely pisses me off is fucking wanna be's rocking combat patches of heralded units because they were attached or tasked for service to support. It only shows envy or ignorance, especially for a leg, cuz everyone equates that widely known and prestigious patch to a set of shiny wings and a beret. Without those, you are causing grief for yourself and loudly stating your REAL assigned unit in combat is somehow less than the rep you would give them by proudly displaying your "real" Division patch. Do SF supports get tabs over the arrowhead? IMO, if those AA's weren't earned on Sicily DZ, they should be just lower case AA's sans the important part, "AIRBORNE". Only thing worse is a NG or reservist doing it bc now they said fuck my unit, my soldiers, my state and you if you ask me "where's my paratroopers wings?".

Hardcore, I know, but that's me, right? Its that way when your poker hands got 10 aces....haha
