and has asked me to put out a message to you guys
asking for our help on designing the controllers...
ANYONE with ideas can help just post the pics and ideas here.
and here is a template to use for the controller.

I have a fairly basic idea but I'm thinking it could be service related? Eventually I understand that you can't make 5 different designs and mass produce them. I'm thinking something Americana though, patriotic that just says BADASS! Eagles and shit! Like a mustache with titties!

I say service logos on it with the USMG logo somewhere on the front. Basic base black color with black buttons and American flag triggers lol... I dunno about all that but the American flag should be included somewhere on it.

I like this idea so how bout using the American flag as the main design of the controller with the USMG logo on the right under the buttons. Im not sure about the branch insignias as that would be far to many for the controller. I'd say give each branch their own controller but that would be a bit too much. Anyone have ideas for the branch logo idea? Not sure about the buttons either. Maybee led buttons/triggers? Just an idea. lol

Yeah this or Swick's design sounds good, but whatever it is I want mine to have bullet buttons, but not 9mm ones - I want .45 ACP on mine.

Bullet casing look awesome but they can actually change how the controller "feels" nohomo. Swick mentioned changing the buttons to say U-S-M-G instead of X-Y-A-B. I say do that and frosted triggers with red white and blue leds.

i think it would suit the lines of the left sides curvature with the rounded portion of the letter G, plus it's always oriented to the user...Maybe white outlines on the blue letters?

Here is something simple instead of using the service seals why not use the paint scheme of each branch official colors and use each service logo. Ie army's is the black and gold boxed white star with US ARMY underneath that. Just a thought. Now this may or may not piss people off but hear me out I wouldn't use the US flag as a basis just for the simple fact that not all members are from the US for example LADYMD is from Great Brittan. You might want to make an independent one for the civilians as well that are members as well.

Here's an idea if it isn't too late. But what about the US flag (or flag of choice) under the shreds in the front of the controller and your branch's camo pattern showing from the shreds on the bottom of the controller? Just a unique thought.

However we are the "United States Military Gamers" baller association... the people that associate with us that aren't one of those things are cool with it I think. I think the design posted was amazing and if we keep changing to suit everyone one's choices it'll take much longer to finish it. Thats why I suggested a vote , mass production I would think would be much slower if we keep changing the base model.

It hasn't yet.... But I guess I was given an update a couple months ago saying that Fallen had supplied the controller to the designer, so now I just need to wait for the painting/shipping stages? :confused:

Regardless I wont pay 200+$ for a controller considering the punishment mine go through and having a kiddo now too amplifies the damage lol. They are beautiful controllers but I would prefer something much more personal than fancy buttons lol

I'm ok with having it now. And IIRC, both 360 could use Xbox controllers and PS3 could use PS2 controllers. I think they'd probably have them backwards-compatible.

Until I hear solid news about the next gen stuff I won't be investing much thought into. The controllers are going to be insane trust me on that. It will be both consoles as well. We are hashing out some details with the maker and we'll have some good news soon!
