sky landers parent warning

Hi all,
My kids have been playing sky landers now for the last 2 months well they got to the final boss fight last night and lost 2. Its so hard that I even tried helping my kids they have 11 sky landers and they where all used up. Now I have to get about 2 more so they can complete the game. If don't know the game comes with 3 then they sell the others for $10 each and they are hard to find. This means $70 for the game and $80 for the one I bought so far and add another 20 this is almost like buying a new game console, I will say great marketing.

I think my kid has you beat... we have the starter pack plus 2 add on packs that give you extra levels, and we are sitting on 20 ish skylanders..good thing I bought most in packs of three when available...it is a good racket for spending my money

whats the add on packs? I usually find them a BFE when I'm out traveling for work.

Thanks for the warning. My son was looking at this, but I talked him out of it once. Now I'll make sure he doesn't hound me about it again.

The most common add on is the one that has the pirate ship two crossed swords a chest and a character...the most recent I found was like ice monster...I will have to take a pic of what he owns

Boy, that sounds expensive. I'm not sure I can support their habit and mine. Someone will have to get a job. However, I think child labor is still against the law in the US.

I am usnsure the actuall cost because of the 3-packs I can't remeber how many I bought. But at worst case scenario its 60 for the starter pack, 17*8 for the individuals is 136 and 3 adventure packs are near 75... So total estimate investment is 271 dollars for one game as of easter

no they loose there power and go to sleep, the problem I'm having with the end of the game with my kids is all their characters fall asleep so they get so close, I figure they need 2 more to defeat the end game.

Try the Toys R Us in York. They had a display in there when I was there yesterday.

=) you'll be just around the corner then. Yea they had a bunch on the display, just don't know if it would be any you would need. It's in the corridor over by the video games. Can't really miss it.

thanks man next Tuesday I'm on the road for 3 weeks, that's when I usually find them when your driving in BFE USA and out pops a Best Buy, gamestop or toy r us, that's when I have been able to buy them, plus my son would take a fit if we borrowed 1 and I sent it back.

I am sure mine would throw a for letting it be borrowed. But he would get over it.. I Don't travel as often but I check local stores a lot sometimes one or two arrive on the shells, so I know how it feels
