I still only have the old 360 that came out with the silver DVD drive, no wifi. I need an upgrade and kinda, but football season is costly so hopefully I get it this summer.

i feel this thread could use some pictures, for those not in the know2627 26282629so we're looking at an R2 console and 3PO controller, pretty sweet. is the Kinect themed as well or just white to match the set?

Yeah like my Halo Reach console makes door opening sounds when turning on or opening the tray. It's pretty cool.

I needed one and I was waiting, but my last one died and I got the Gears special edition one. The sounds are cool and yes it is supposed to make R2 sounds when turning on and off and when ejecting or closing the door. this only happens when using the buttons on the box, not on the controller. So don't be alarmed when you get it out of the box and use the controller to turn it on or off.

I broke down. Traded the old one in, and got this xbox. My inner nerd is all tingly. The xbox light is blue instead of green and it make r2 sounds when you hit the buttons. Unfortunately, the Kinect is just white with Black underneath. But the detail on the box is sick. When you open the tray, on top it says, "Help me Obi-Wan Kinobi. You're my only hope." I'll try to upload a pic of that.

I think I'd just pay Swick to customize my controller and console instead of buying the new ones. Besides the new system will be out soon anyways, so why bother buying another.
