It is just like in black ops where you are able to unlock items to create your own emblems. Except in this case it's for the emblem on our clan elite page

I posted this so we're all on the same page. Our only goal in Elite is to rank up the clan. Ops are just a means to an end. BH is dragging their feet with Clan Challenges. 5K puts us at level 30 which is a huge accomplishment!

Well prior to clan ops, these clans engaged in founder rape. They'd lure hungry founders looking for a high ranked clan in as a requirement, boot em, rinse & repeat. Some may claim a drop in K/D as a reason lol. No way else to get to 57K.

Pak can you lay to rest the rumor of when a clan gets a diff color clan tag? I've heard 30 but I was playing against a level 32 clan a while ago and they still had yellow. Looking at the list I didn't see anything other than you get gold at 10.

It's gold and that's it. Every perk/upgrade is listed next to each rank.

I don't think we'll have a problem hitting gold. We've been in the low 100s last couple ops. It be nice to break into the top 100 sometime soon though.

We are not the strongest "organized" clan because we don't do arranged clan operations, but we have a good amount of killers within the clan... Hopefully this Elite clan will continue on to Blops 2 (don't see why it wouldn't) and so on.

I am one of those that thinks treyarch makes a better game than infinityward so I'm definitely getting bops2. They usually have there stuff a little more together. Except maps that you can fall through.

It already has the original Black Ops on it. There's no reason it wouldn't include the second version. They will use it as a selling tool. Although I don't know how many would have signed up if they knew what kinds of problems they would be having.

Yup Scot brings up some good points Elite is more of a deterrent than a good sales pitch anymore.

Elite is ran by BeachHead not Activision so the transition would be much less painful then people think.

I agree with Pak. I think the "Founder Status" bit is a glorified "paid Beta tester" emblem. And I definitely think it will be better the longer it's up, as well as believe that Elite 2.0 for Black Ops will be what Elite should have been from the get-go.


I'm curious about the current competition set-up though, if I remember correctly it's set up so that you can't see who specifically came in first, or what clan ranked where.....and I wonder if they did that so that people would stop being able to call clans out for cheating, so that they'd have less hassle.

But that's just me being massively pessimistic.

Yep, that happens to me all too often. Or all the tabs on the right will be missing. My Clan Ops tab still doesn't work and I have no way of seeing any Clan info whatsoever

Mine shows I have not participated in any clan ops...like none. Considering I have been in them all, I would say that is a problem. To see what place we get I have to go to the clan page and then click on the most recent op in order to get to the results and half the time that does not work either. Takes me forever just to figure out how we did.

I have to do the same thing on mine. I do think that both activision and beach head know that the only way I'm buying another year of elite is if the clan stuff carries over to bops2. So id be very surprised if it didn't carrey over.
