Hi guys I just got back from bootcamp and I got a xbox 360 and I was wondering Which is better to get a wired it wireless 360 controller and is it worth getting a charging cable and battery for the 360 Xbox controller they give you. Thanks

I would personally get a play'n'charge pack with the battery & charging cable, that way you have the option of going wireless. I loved mine before I threw it across the room and smashed it.

So I should get another wireless with a play n charge and if I do that can I just keep it wired without a battery pack and how long does the battery pack charge last and is the cable a decent length when wired?

I think it is a 6' cord. No, you must have the battery in when plugged in, but the battery will stay charged.

I just got the charger pack where you put the controller in a chargin seat and it charges while you dint play.. No cords to disconnect and ive had it for like a year now and it still works awesome. Was cheap too

I have this. It works great. Especially if you have two controllers. One of mine is broken, I just leave it in to charge, it's my back-up when my primary is dying.

Have basically the same thing too, and I generally do the same as Steel...have one controller that you play off of, and use a broken controller to keep a backup battery always charged.

Go wireless....that way when you get mad, you have an excuse to through your remote at your girlfriend who pisses you off when you're playing like shit.

Definitely get a controller that you can rely on to not die on you! You don't want your controller to die as soon as you throw up a predator missile... -.-
