I'm sure most of you have come across similar situations as the one I'm in now, so I'm hoping to get some advice from you guys on how you manage.
I recently joined USMG and gained a new excitement for gaming. I was able to play with a few of you and had a blast on the clan ops. On April 1st, however, my wife gave birth to our second child, a little boy. I love spending time with him and my 2 year old daughter, and it's amazing to see my family bond together, but I realized that I haven't been on here or on XBox since then, or done anything to get a break for myself. I've tried to come up with ways to sneak in some "me time" so that I can jump on, but that still hasnt panned out. I know eventually things will all fit in, but until then this sucks. Has anybody else found themselves in this situation? And what kind of creative things did you come up with to manage your time?

KantstopMeh is going through the exact same thing since you both have Spring babies. Family before games. However if you need an extended absence and don't want guys worrying about where you ran off to, use the On Leave section to forecast. It lets your mates know and keeps your Elite spot safe and sound. No one will hold it against you.

I feel u man but family always comes first. I was in the same boat, still kind of am. Once the baby gets a bit older it will be easier to get game time in. Like PAK said use the on leave section. Oh and congrats on the new addition.

I'll go ahead and post to the On Leave section just to cover myself. I've been following the family before games thing this whole time, I just can't wait til things balance back out so I can have my 'escape' back

I've got a 6 year old and came to the realization that it doesn't end for another 12 years.

Until another one comes along and the counter restarts. By the time my youngest sibling leaves, there will have been kids in my parents house for 33 years...and by that point they'll probably be grandparents

There is a Time Management course here at APG on May 16th. One of the topics is Ten more hours in every day; doubling your productivity. Maybe that will help lol.

Wow, sounds like my moms family. Grandma had 13 kids. My youngest Aunt is 5 years older than me.
