Well they're never meaningless. Anytime you kill an enemy you're potentially saving a teammate who may only need one more for a steak. And any time you lay down a support streak you're helping someone as well. I want to be in the top 6 at some point as well but any contribution is helping someone reach the goal of gold.

In KC you get 50pts for a kill and the other 50pts comes from getting the yellow tag he dropped. You still get credit for the kill, but don't get points for your team unless you pick up the yellow tags. You get 50 pts from red teammate tags as well, but more importantly your robbing pts from the enemy.

If you shoot the enemy and your teammate gets the tag:
1. you get the kill
2. you get 50pts
3. he gets 50pts as well
4. your team gets the point towards the 65 needed to win

I can't imagine them differentiating confirms by grabbing tags and confirms for killing someone and a teammate grabbing the tag unless it was already implemented that way in-game, and I don't think it was. But I could be wrong.

Project Proposal: Someone count the number of tag confirms and killed confirms the whole op, and see which number is right...:D

That's what I thought. I usually clean up tags for my clan mates when they are securing an area and I am running around in my circles. It's a good tactic. They pop longer shots I flank and clean up a straggler or two and the tags.

Got the kill? Good job, you're half way there. A good clan will execute ambushes and run and gun teamplay to get the most confirms. The performance of the top 6 premium members in your clan will count towards the final score. Good luck.

A tornado just missed us earlier. Went to Norman and did some damage at OU. The national weather service has issued a "life threatening" storm warning for tonight and tomorrow. Apparently they rarely do that. Tomorrow is supposed to be worse.

I'll be interested to know what the right answer is for this as far as what counts and what doesn't. It would make sense to me that they only count the gold tags you collect, but I know normally you get credit for someone else getting your tags. If you get credit for both than it would be best to kill someone and pick up eachothers tags instead of your own, because you'd essentially be getting double confirms.

During the first 10 minutes of the op i was grped up, but the wait times were too long for me to handle. Alltogether, i think we did a wonderful job tonight. Grats on the gold guys and gals!

I went solo as well. I was in a group of six and we were getting matched up with other clans of 6 and if they weren't backing out we were. Sorry I left you guys Reaper. I got into games quicker and stole tags from other clans I was teamed with. I think it was better that way, instead of us fighting over the tags...

We had a group of 6 but it took forever to get a lobby and when we did most of us had 1-2 bars. We tried going to a smaller group and that did not help either. We even tried reforming. After about 45 min to an hour with only a couple games played I decided to lone wolf the rest. Honestly, this is another op that is probably better lone wolfed or groups of two so we are not competing for each others tags and dealing with finding lobby's. It is really sad that most "clan ops" are better played solo or with only a few and not the clan.

The Xbox kinect bundle I have had only a 4gig HD...so I raped the old white ones HD and it got me up to nearly 20...which BF3's 7 gig update/Karkland has slopped up....so...I have 3.5 open until I get to Gamestop....MW3 needs 7:(
