Yeah, we also need to look at the EVE recruitement also. One of our EVE guys posted the link so we can start one, just not sure where it is.....:behindsofa:

I've asked the EVE guys to help with our Dust recruiting. If you read through some of the recruiting threads on the forum I linked to, it seems as though having an EVE corporation is a big selling point.

Here is a link to the Dust 514 forums on the official PlayStation website. I put in to have us listed in the clans directory. Note that there is not a clan recruiting thread yet, and I don't want to step on any toes just yet. Not until we find out when this game is gonna launch.

Wow, I haven't seen that name in awhile! PLYMCO_PILGRIM was huge in MAG! That is hopeful for DUST, as he has a big following and loved MAG as much as the rest of us. :high5:

I need some help writing this up. Over on the Dust514.org forums, they've started a "snippet" thread which allows organizations to create a very brief overview of themselves. Kind of like and index of sorts, if you will. You can see it here: http://www.dust514.org/forums/pre-launch-recruitment/unofficially-official-unified-corp-recruitment-thread

I'm copying and pasting the template below, let's brainstorm how we want this to read. We'll take the best bits and pieces and put together a final product.

The Idea

Hello hello, one and all. I happened to notice there were a bugger-all lot of recruitment threads, with every corp trying to get their name out there and competing for new players.

I had a thought - perhaps, instead of just having a multitude of threads one must keep bumped at all hours, it would be best to have a unified location where all the quick information for a particular corp could be skimmed.

Here's how it works. I'll be posting a format below, to be filled out and posted to this thread, and in the second post, I'll maintain a list of corps who submit to me the filled-out blurb. They'll be ordered as they are received, so first come is first serve - no chance of naming your corp the Aaaaaaardvarks or some bollocks just to get first posting.

I hope this idea catches on - it seems useful. If everyone uses it, perhaps it might even be good to get it sticky'd?

The Format

Name: [Corp Name] Callsign: [Corp Callsign]
Affiliation: [Alliance, if any; race, if any preferred]
Fluff: [An entirely optional thing; a one- to two-sentence hook describing your corp or your mission statement]

About us: [Description of the corp; any relevant information to try and hook potential recruits. Keep it to under 650 characters, if you please - short and sweet is the ticket. This is just to give potential recruits (or allies) a taste of your corp's core values or combat doctrine, just enough to pull them in.]
Admission Requirements: [Any specific requirements a potential recruit must have to be considered]
Link(s): [A link to the corp's dust forum thread, or personal website, or both]

Affiliation: Personally no idea, that's on the guys who will actually be playing. The EVE corp has....if I remember correctly, members of all four races. Maybe mention here the EVE section of USMG.

I agree with this, u can use this River. Im pretty sure Timmy will agree with this. For the alliance thing, it should be Apex Coalition right now. As we pregross to an actual alliance we will need to change it when the alliance is formed. But im happy this is being done so we can get our name out there for DUST.
