Cuts!!!(Read if you were cut)

I'm not gonna go into too much explanation because the onus isn't on me to participate or look after people. The only rule we have to maintain a spot in the Elite portion of our clan is to participate. If you were cut, it means you barely kept up your end of the bargain when representing us online. Most of you are premium members and are relied upon to help us rank up. Sadly only a few are shouldering the load. If you were cut, it doesn't mean you are kicked from our community. You're still part of the community and can earn your spot again. Just make sure you do it before a new recruit takes it. You may feel upset or enraged. Before you lash out, look at yourself and analyse whether you put forth an effort here in our forums, with your clanmates online or in the 8 clan ops that we've participated in since late February. You shouldn't be surprised at all. For those who refuse to do so, I've turned off my PMs and will delete EVERY XBL message I receive without reading or listening to the pleas inside. Post here in the open forum for all to see. Let's be adults and move forward. Let this also be a lesson to those on the bubble. You know who you are and you were actually a post or clan op away from experiencing the same fate.

Some of you have been cut were on leave or going through family issues. Check your Elite notifications for your re invite or message ANY member of the Green Team for one so they can let me know. ie. SuicideKiller PCSing in from Kuwait etc

To the rest of the guys, Let's get the 5K currently on the table. I'll recruit new blood immediately. Let's not have a shitload of replies saying +1 or reiterating what I said. Just let it be and move on.

I have been a participant in a few ops. The last few, not as much. Most of them I was absent from due to legit reasons (hours, access to console, etc... But we all have those same issues, so I understand) Admittedly, there was a TDM op I could have helped with but I didn't due to my frustration with TDM. After reading what many of the guys experienced, the frustration they went through, I felt pretty bad I didn't help at all. It's just frustrating that I put in confirmation for these next few ops that I would be up and gunning only to find out an hour or so away from the op that I was cut. That is not, however, anyone's fault but my own. May I ask how I go about finding my way back in eventually? (obviously due to the popularity of COD and Elite, I understand my spot may not open for quite sometime, if at all)

I fell of the MW3 bandwagon when there were no clan ops available. There had only been 8 ops since the game launched. I would check on the elite page every now and again but I would either miss the op or was not available to play (I am a drill sergeant and work some silly hours). Now that the ops have started I was amped to play with my clan. I had an open schedule since were on cycle break till May and everything was lineing up great. Really disapointed that when the ops actually start is when you make the cuts, without notice. I can see the urge to not give handouts to "freeloaders" so you wanted to make cuts before the double xp hit. I dont care about the xp, if i wanted the xp i would have bought $50 in mountain dew instead of getting elite. What I cared about is playing in the ops and the timing of the cuts is terrible. Also, with the double xp, you are essentially just throwing it away. If you dont fill the clan with new recruits to fill the empty slots then thats just a waste. The idea that playing this game is work and if you dont work you dont eat is a different attitude than I would have thought would be taken. Cuts should be made for people that want to play to have a slot. I want to play.

It was good playing with yall... I enjoyed Playing with mature gamers, especially fellow military members and veterans, not having to worry about majority of the group rage quitting and staying in the game. I would say I am gonna be back on playing, but like a lot of us, Life happens and we have to put the controller down and live life. It sucks to be cut, but it's not the end of the world. No excuses from me, just life happens. Thanks for the experience though.

To clarify because clan leader is a thankless job whose success is largely ignored and whose every move is questioned. Pak is a very good clan leader and has fine out of his way for months to field the best clan he can and keep the usmg what out is. Being one of the ones cut and then brought back and taken a little more time to reflect and get some perspective I see where he's coming from. There are a couple of choices that I would luke to have seen done different but I probably wouldn't have done them any different in paks place. Glad I'm not the clan leader.

The "Elite Clan" is a small section of USMG. Joining USMG doesn't mean you're part of the Elite clan. For that matter, it's physically impossible for every member of USMG to be in the Elite clan......because Elite has a hard number cutoff for it's clan sizes.

Second, this might also be educational if you have questions as to what being part of the clan on Elite requires. Well said Dave. Our Elite Clan is a Privilege and you should want to be a part of it. USMG is a Community that revolves around the idea that we love video games and we are military members. Much different.

I was gonna let you do the whole righteous indignation thing to feel better, but I wanted to just clear up a fabrication in your rant. NO ONE, was cut for not being great at the game. A couple guys have stats in line with his so that's just poppycock(is that how you guys say it tupac?). People were cut for not participating. Plain and simple. I didn't know he was a new dad with a 3 month old. Kinda coincides with when clan ops started and explains the absence, right? Didn't know dtone was going through a divorce either. I had to cut folks simply to dispel any notions of favoritism and to avoid the "why me and not him?" shit that was sure to come.

Lemme also tell you guys a little something about real life. I worked from 2130-0530 this morning, attempted to reply to a shit ton of messages when I got home and verified Peekaboo as I put on my 6 year old's shin guards and soccer uniform for a match this morning. Took her to grandma and verified another guy when I got home midday. That's the norm for me most days and as a nightshift worker, I still manage to participate in ops when I should be sleeping. Everyone has their story. I'm not asking for anyone to go above and beyond. I'm simply asking guys to coordinate on the site, help out in a few ops and refrain from playing other match types while your mates are suffering through match types they hate.

I have been at work like crazy and when i am on i play withe everybody....i may have missed the clan ops but im always playing with members from the clan and recruiting good strong minded individuals who have a stronger reason for joining our community besides the clan number and elite stuff...but when i am on i am dedicated i joined for a reason....just like in any branch of service you have to issue orders to the people below you so he full job gets done!!

Thanks for speaking up. It's not about individual stats. Not everyone will be in the top 6. It's a group effort and some guys facilitate for others.

As a member I feel that I have been playing online with fellow USMG members and staying active on XBL. I can point out that i have not been active as much as i could on the forums and can change that and the clan ops. Other things i felt like i was good on, I designed the 2 tournament banners for the website and designed many player signatures for the clan members. I have also been playing at night with TwistedFX and Reaper almost every night and with other clan members as well but mainly twisted and reaper.

Tell me what i can do to get back into the elite clan and help you all out.

A few takeaways:

Put your best foot forward as a probationary member and get to know your clanmates.

Being new with 0-1 posts for an extended period of time means that your days are numbered.

If I ask around the clan about you and all the responses to your name are "Who?!", what do you think is the expected outcome.

Asking why you got cut via an XBL message instead of the forum only reinforces why you got cut.

Playing another game type during an entire op is a dick move.

Your clanmates should never only hear from you when you wake up one morning to find your tag/title are gone.

So when you see my name pop up on your screen while playing by yourself during clan ops, take the invite. We work as a Team. Going Hans Solo during clan ops doesn't cut it. If you want to avoid being cut, be social and play with others (no homo). I would recommend playing with a green team member once in a while so you are "known" amongst the clan. Kudos for the new members who stay active

Yeah some people play better by themselves, so for clan ops they may not accept an invite. Usually I play better with a group, but some days I've done better lone wolfing. I would say rejecting invites when not in an op is more serious (unless you're playing with another group of friends).

If I'm unable to play with a clan member who sends an invite while I'm in another lobby with or without clan members, I make an effort to message the person to let them know my status.

I run solo a lot, but I stay online in case someone needs another teammate to compliment their squad. That's why I am in a mw3 clan and the USMG, to play with others.

I will say for TDM I like running lone wolf, I can get into games easier. Now I will say I'm just going to make my self as off line for the TDM ops.

I prefer to play solo on ops like Kill Confirmed. I am a tag snatching junkie and I think I would be more of a hinderence in a group. I get more tags than kills during ops, and i run asssasin pro dead silence pro so I avoid the rest of the team wo sound like a herd of elaphants stomping around behind me while Im listening for the other team. I will definitely be with a team during the hardcore team death because all I can hope to do to help out is drop UAVs and body armour.

Haha I laughed out loud on the forum whores. I am trying to post more and more every day :). It's a hard life being unemployed working out and helping the roommates take care of the house. They put me on yard duty all day today! It was fun since it definitely beats the USMC boot days :). Glad we were able to clear up some of the guys who were cut like Val and Chett. Also definitely noticed I still had some guys who got booted from the clan ages ago which opened up some friend spots :).

Full, as in the lobby's with clan members are full or full as in you can't play at all? Not to be rude but you don't have to play with other members to help out with the score. You can ride solo during ops while playing the same game type and still contribute to the clan.

Yeah a lot of the times I run solo or with only 1 other guy so we can get into matches fast enough.

Yeah that's usually what it takes. Of course, sometimes it takes forever just to find a lobby with a big group even without the clan tags.

I thought I had posted in the leave forum but I went back to look and it wasn't there my daughter got real sick and she was admitted to the hospital so I didn't know when I was gonna be back on and I took some extra time to spend with my family now that she's healthy but I was kicked so I guess shit happens

I thought I had posted in the leave forum but I went back to look and it wasn't there my daughter got real sick and she was admitted to the hospital so I didn't know when I was gonna be back on and I took some extra time to spend with my family now that she's healthy but I was kicked so I guess shit happens

Well I am on my way to WTU for my bulge in my back so I recovered my gamer tag for I may be here for a while. Household 06 isn't happy about it but as long as I get fixed.

I went in to except my invite and I had 8 invites from off the wall clans and didn't see that I declined the one I wanted in. If I could get another invite so that I can correct my self. I will do my smoke session as soon as able to pay you back.

I'd like to apologize to the clan. I'm one of the clan members who's been cut from Elite, not just once but twice due to lack of participation. There were a lot times when I had good reasons why I couldn't participate due to being aboard Army watercraft, internet going out, family issues and/or civilian work schedule, but there are a lot of times I haven't participated due to laziness and/or lack of time managment. I'm sorry. I do really enjoy playing with the clan. I actualy don't play unless I'm playing with another clan member. If I earn it and if there's a slot available, I'd definately enjoy another invite, but I'd understand if I've used up all my chances.
