I read about this earlier today. I am looking forward to it. But, I'll be interested to see how it is since Bungie isn't making it.

It was their last, but had a lot of support from 343 studios, who took over the Halo franchise......and is conveniently run by and full of former Bungie employees.

No, they're really not. Which they announced a year or two before Reach was released.

And since 343 Studios did a shitload of work on Reach, which was basically developed by both studios working together, and is both run by and composed of numerous ex-employees of Bungie......where's the total fail?

That's right. Well Reach was pretty good with all 343's work...and since it is a lot of ex-Bungiers I think it'll be fine.

Ahhhh! did not know that. I've always been a huge fan of Bungie and when you take them away from the Halo productions, it seems the game itself doesn't have the Halo feel to it.

Which has nothing to do with 343 industries, or the fact that 343i employs numerous bungie employees, or that it's run by Bungie's former content manager. "Bungie" is absolutely represented in this.

Though I'd absolutely have to argue with you that Halo Wars somehow "doesn't feel like Halo."

This is a hypothetical situation which may clarify what I'm trying to say. I have a Ford Mustang which is built by Ford (obviously) and the Mustang has been made by Ford for many many years. Now take the Mustang and have it now built by Chevy. It's still a mustang. Sounds the same, looks the same, drives the same, and performs the same, BUT its not made by Ford. It's the historical feel when buying the car knowing its made by Ford and not Chevy. Now take Halo and apply the same concept.

Right, that's what I meant. Halo Wars sucked because it had essentially no Bungie influence, whereas Halo 4 has 343 Industries, which for all practical purposes is Bungie. I was not saying that Halo 4 will suck, on the contrary, I am really looking forward to it.

Still gotta disagree that it sucked. For console RTS games, it was pretty solid, and the storyline and cinematics were pure Halo.

I'm not bashing Halo and I totally agree with your concept as well. I was just saying that it sucks in general that bungie doesn't want to stick their name on the Halo series or deal with making the game. Or am I wrong?
