Impressive stats guys! 1140 daily visits with 725 members with 257 active members! :clap2:
It has been a pleasure getting to know you all, and I look forward to what the future holds for USMG! We are always looking for ways to keep USMG fresh and motivated. Please don't hesitate to post any ideas you have that could benefit our community. The staff may run the day to day operations here, but our members are the driving force of what makes USMG so great!

I would be so lost... It's hard enough to remember my real name adding Jim into the mix would blow my mind.

So other than talking in the forums, what other ways support this site? Is there a thread on this already?

There is more that everyone can do rather than just assume whatever is posted here represents the clan/community as a whole.

Contrary to popular belief, USMilitaryGamers.com is NOT the heart of the USMG community. It's a nice virtual place to gather and talk about games, activities, swap stories, and exchange points of view from different perspectives. But it does not represent what we are all about by any means.

Likewise, Elite does not represent the community either. That is a just a splinter group dedicated to one game. Nothing more.

USMG is made up of everyone reading this. The people are the true heart and soul. It's about coming together as current or veteran brothers and sisters in arms (or their supporters). I can tell you in all honesty that there have been more times where I've laughed harder when talking to some of our members by chat or online than I can count. I won't rehash my personal story again, but long story short...another member kept me from self destructing not that long ago.

To get to my point, the best way to support USMG is to support one another. Get to know as many people as you can. Offer to help someone when they need it.

If you want to donate money to the site, that's fantastic. If you want to help recruit new members through Elite or any other game, then by all means do so. But the best thing anyone can do in this community is to remember that "it's about the gamer next to you."

Nice write up River. You should post something like that here.....

http://forums.usmilitarygamers.com/showthread.php?7033-US-Military-Gamers-A-definition-for-all

Anyway, on top of what River stated, for physical contributions we do have a donation bar at the top, or in your userCP you can buy a "subscription" to USMG. Which the subscription is where you might see the custom tags such as this.....
