So here's a random thought, I was thinking to myself the other day about what I could've been if I wasn't in the military, my guess is I would be dead... or broke and homeless due to a severe gambling addiction I had when I was younger.
So I pose the question to you all about where would you be if you never joined up?
Rules... no mom jokes and or that's what she said statements.... exclusively posed to Angels.

Yeah, cause you know I would be doing your mom if it wasn't for the military...
Nah, I actually have a response to your question for real, its just that I'm tired from YOUR MOM saying THATS WHAT SHE SAID all the time...

All seriousness though...
I was on my way to multiple kids and a job where I was barely home...
Difference between military and where I was is now it's only one woman I have multiple kids with (I think) and I have job security which who knows if I wasn't in...
I do want to eventually have a job where I will die around 50 or so... Being old looks like it sucks and I'm not sure I want to see my girls getting married/having kids
I would have gone to college and played football on a scholarship then either become a cop or IT guy like I am now. I turned down the free ride cause I wanted to be cav and still got to play football for nfl-europa. Sometimes I wonder what I would be like without certain army events guiding me.

I would have been a manwhore to pay my way through college since I got accepted to a few universities, but couldn't afford it.

I would probably be in so much debt it wouldn't even be manageable to live. Living with my parents and borrowing money from them left and right def would happen all the time.

I would probably still be the guy at Best Buy hounding the shit out of you to buy the product replacement/repair plan on your gaming systems.

Living with my parents doing drugs with friends. Probably in a gang as I was headed down that road before I joined the navy

Well, if it weren't for the Army, I'd have two Bachelor's degrees, and probably an executive job. But I'd be really bored, and slightly lame as well I'm sure.

What's funny is that I actually believed in it when I worked there. Any depending on what you're buying it can be a good deal but a lot of the time its wasted money.

When the 360 first came out, I made it a point to purchase it and then turn it back in before the 2 years. I think I've only paid for two 360. It's been worth it to me.
I would have been working at a grocery store similar to Safeway. Hated it. Or dead...usual shit.

I was actually a foster kid all my life. Graduated highschool at 16 got my first apt. Went to IU and then lost my job then became homeless for six months at 17 then became a CNA and then a physciatric tech worked two jobs to put a roof over my head. Then got offered a job In Florida working got bank Atlantic as a bank teller then was a bank manager in training then was tired of being in the lifestyle I was in ( around influences that were illegal) I walked in and enlisted shipped out a few days after I signed. If I didn't I wouldn't have never met my wife or seen the world heck or finished my education.

Yeah, no matter what I would have never predicted what a family can do to a man and where he goes in life.
