Bringing New Members into the fold

Ahoy my fellow EVE players. It is ur friend Harbinger Pride here with a useful message. As many of u know we have been trying to recruit new members into our Corp to build our home up in prep for DUST 514 and also we are in talks right now for an Alliance all thanks to our very own DOC. Since we are in talks i think i am goin to send an S.O.S. to all members that are in EVE to help us grow stronger.

What do you mean by helping you Pride you say? Well funny you have asked me that. I mean if you find a player looking for a Corp, strike up a convo and ask him the basic questions to find out who he is.

Is he/she a Veteran or current member of the armed services or is he/she a civilian?

Is he/she 18 or older?

What are they looking for in a corp?

What are their goals in EVE?

Do they have any issues with low sec?

And finally, do they want to work with us and help us out in Ops or supporting our group in DUST 514?

If their answers meet what we want then refer them to me(Xilvi James), Timmy(Alieana Padecain), or Spyder(Kell Darkstar). Thanks for any help u can provide to us my fellow players of EVE.

Can we get some of you fine folks from the EVE side to help us on the Dust 514 recruiting? We're getting some interest in the recruiting forums, and it seems a selling point for some of the other clans is having an EVE presence.

Ha! I have heard of eve. But surely have no clue what the gist is. I do know that dust is a spin-off. So I don't know any details. I am opened minded of course. :) I am up for anything to check out.

Eve is an MMO. It's less like WoW, TOR, or other theme-park MMO's, and is basically the posterchild for sandbox MMO's. Pretty much everything about it is player driven. It also lacks story or massive guidance/hand-holding, and let's you do pretty much whatever it is you want to do. Want to spend your MMO time mining and/or exploiting planetary resources? Doing security missions for NPC's? Build a financial empire and exploit the market? Or join a faction militia and PvP/NPC hunt? All of these things are viable game options in Eve.

You will have to use a new trial and new account if u want to start over, but if you want to keep ur toon u made then u gotta pay

Yeah, if you're cool with starting over completely, you can use a new trial....just have to set up a new account as well.

I'm new here and seen the advert in EVE. I am not so new to EVE. I have about 38 Mill Skill points and I am a Covert Op, Black ops Pilot with extensive experience in that type of warfare. I was apart of the Dirt Nap Squad for about two years. We were the ones who took down a player station...(not a base) with mostly Frigates. I understand Cynos and can do covert cyno jumps. I also have many, many DEEEEEEEP safes located throughout null sec....completely off grid and not affected by the post Posiden Deep safe changes. I have had at time a total of 4 accounts with all character slots taken. I now only run 2, my other is another cyno capable pilot and I use him to launder money for my main so during WarDecs, I can still make money without interference. I also used that account to scout for my old corps ops.
